'When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else.' ~Joseph Campbell
Writing, reading, taking care of my animals...I'm a homebody and I love being on my farm.
Music
I like a lot of different kinds of music. I have a very eclectic collection that ranges from hip hop to heavy metal, from country to opera. I couldn't say that any particular artist or genre is a favorite. I pretty much like individual songs that speak to me on some level.
Movies
Favorites include Bringing Up Baby, Zorro the Gay Blade, The Princess Bride, French Kiss, The Phantom of the Opera, The Matchmaker, Secondhand Lions. Again, no particular genre. I just like great stories and good writing.
Television
I like my TV and I think TiVo is probably one of man's greatest inventions! :D At any given moment you might find on my Tivo: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Veronica Mars, Law & Order (all versions), House, Rescue Me, Smallville, The Dresden Files, Blood Ties, Army Wives, Without A Trace, Cold Case, Moonlight, Las Vegas, The Big Bang Theory, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, 24, Prison Break, The Closer, Two and a Half Men, The 4400, Monk, Ghost Whisperer, Eureka, Medium, The Tudors, Back to You, Dexter, Gary Unmarried, Burn Notice, Lie to Me, Leverage, Castle...
Books
I love paranormal romances and urban fantasy. My first love, however, is historical romance. My favorite authors include Laurell Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kim Harrison, Charlaine Harris, MaryJanice Davidson, JR Ward, Kresley Cole, Katie Macalister, Gena Showalter, Julia Quinn, Jude Devereaux, Judith McNaught, Virginia Henley, Rebecca Brandewyne, Catherine Coulter, Christine Dodd, Galen Foley, Diana Gabaldon, Eloisa James, Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey, Lisa Kleypas, Arnette Lamb, Susan Johnson, Stephanie Laurens, Kat Martin, Julia London. The Duchess by Jude Devereaux, Something Wonderful by Judith McNaught, Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon and the first 8 books of the Anita Blake series by Laurell Hamilton are among my favorite books.

Novels and Short Stories by Jenna Maclaine:
THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF VAMPIRE ROMANCE (JULY 2008): This anthology from Running Press features the short story titled "The Righteous," set in 1675. This is Devlin and Justine's story and a prequel to Wages of Sin.
WAGES OF SIN (JULY 2008): The first book in the Cin Craven series, set in 1815. Dulcinea Craven descends from a long line of witches, and she has just inherited wild, untrained magical powers that she has no idea how to control. Now a ruthless vampire and an age-old demon are determined to enslave Cin and steal her power for their own. Her only hope is The Righteous, a band of warrior vampires who slay the rogue undead. Among them is Michael, a fierce swordsman who inflames Cin’s most primal hungers. Showing her a sensual pleasure beyond anything in the mortal realm, she must choose between the human existence she has always known, and immortality as a vampire—a new life filled with forbidden urges, dark yearning, and unearthly passions…
STRANGE BREW (JULY 2009): This anthology from St. Martin's Press features a short story from Cin's world titled "Dark Sins," set in 1818.
GRAVE SINS (FEBRUARY 2009): This is the second book in the Cin Craven series, set in 1828. With Michael by her side, Cin’s latest mission brings her face-to-face with Marrakesh, a beautiful, half-mad vampire queen charged with slaughtering humans. If she’s found guilty, Marrakesh will pay with her life. But Cin is convinced that someone- or something- far more ruthless is trying to steal the queen’s throne. It’s a mission that will pit Michael and Cin against each other for the first time, awakening their darkest instincts and testing their love like never before…
BOUND BY SIN (DECEMBER 2009): This is the third book in the Cin Craven series, set in 1862. I need to clear up some obvious confusion about the title of book three. Originally, the title was Mortal Sins, however, a book by another author was recently published under that title. My editor and I decided to change the title of my book to Bound by Sin. Through circumstances I have no control over, the title was not changed on the teaser at the end of Grave Sins. When book three comes out, it should be called Bound by Sin. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!
HUNTRESS (JUNE 2009): This anthology from St. Martin's Press features a short story from Cin's world titled "Sin Slayer," set in 1889.
