first of all, our favorite bands are daughtry, staind, lifehouse, and papa roach. best singer ever: michael jackson!!!! other than that, we're very extremely, and we repeat very very extremely ecclectic. let's see here, there's rock, pop, r&b, old school rock, some disco, some classical, some opera, country, some bluegrass. need we go on? we're ecclectic!! Jen's personal favorite: 80's rock songs and power ballads. HUGE air supply fan!!! Joe's personal favorite: rock and grundge. big on cold.

We actually met when we were just kids and were blessed enough to have God reunite us again as adults. The same sparks, the same connection that was made in childhood was made again. While some call it fate, we choose to call it destiny. What's the difference? Fate is something that happens sparatically without any real intention or perhaps even purpose. Destiny is what God's will for your life was before you were ever born. A book that was written of your life that, if you're lucky enough and have enough faith, you can fill it's chapters as God intended. Somehow, we were lucky enough. Somehow, we were blessed enough. Somehow, the path we followed that we didn't always understand or feel fulfilled in, led us to the one person we were meant to spend a lifetime with.

I can't feel too sad, but at times I do. Its not fair to michael or ash or even mike to allow myself to get too down in the dumps. I know she is in such good hands. We will probably be going down to see her either this summer or for sure this upcoming christmas/new years holiday. Not sure on the wedding date as of yet, its still up in the air. They were thinking maybe when we come down there they could get married. If not, it will be next summer when they move back here. She is down there 'for good' until next may more in likely....I love you sweetie!

I really wished today could be happier for me...am missing lyssa something awful, even though they did get me a huge, embarrassing display for mothers day before they left for hawaii, it, well, doesn't completely fill the void of missing her and knowing I will be for a very long time...michael & ash n boo live with us now and that is a great thing, we get to see boo every day now, which is wonderful!!
