Everything from classical to rap. While I love art and theatre, it is music that can take me absolutely anywhere emotionally. Neil Young, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and the Beatles are faves because my dad was a lyricist from that era.

soooo many, but narrowing it down: Candy Girl, Sellevision, Straight Up and Dirty, Eat Pray Love, Secret Life of Bees, White Oleander, Something Borrowed, Bitter is the New Black, Good Grief, Strip City, Always the Bridesmaid, and almost any chick-lit title, especially "Park Ave" lit, like The Right Address, The Ivy Chronicles, Nanny Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada, Because She Can, The Elements of Style...I cannot get enough of books about rich people (preferably New Yorkers) behaving badly (though the Second Assistant, set in Hollywood, had a scene with an "asshole intervention," which was nothing short of brilliant!)
Heroes
Michael Moore...that guy has chutzpa and a sense of humor, the best combo since peanut butter met chocolate!
Who I'd like to meet: People who love to read, write and travel. I really enjoy hearing from people who've read my novels, but hate enormous graphics in my comments area, especially glittering, flashing ones, so please don't include. Thanks!

Just finished the Queen Gene and loved it! Gave it to a friend, who texted me late at night, "OMG WHAT KIND OF BOOK IS THIS?" She was laughing so hard (in bed), she woke her husband. Immediately ordered Tales from the Crib and Reinventing Mona to take with me on vacation. Yay!
