Although she has been singing and performing for as long as she can remember; Jennifer Delaney did not consider herself a 'singer' until 2005, when she met Daniel Ward-Murphy. It was Daniel (a singer/songwriter from London) who discovered Jennifer, and she became part of his brilliant music and talented band. Starting as a backing vocalist for Daniel Ward-Murphy, she gained confidence gig by gig and was encouraged to take on lead vocals on a number of songs.
During these last 3 years performing with Daniel and through his belief in her, and her love for his music, she is pusuing a solo career, with songs written by Daniel, whilst continuing to perform and record with his band.
What 'they' say about her:
As you would expect at the tender age of 25, Jen's musican career is in its infancy, but her sultry, jazzy, folky voice drips with maturity and experience.
Jennifer plays a major role in live shows, providing lead vocals on several songs as well as featuring strongly as backing vocalist throughout the set.
As well as continuing to sing with Daniel, Jennifer has performed several successful solo shows and looks set to further her musical career in the future.
You can hear Jennifer on Daniel Ward-Murphy's debut album 'Until the Morning Light', produced by Tony Platt (ACDC/Bob Marley).
Jennifer also features on two tracks on the debut album 'Circles and Squares' by Francis Rodino, produced by Steve Bush (Stereophonics/Corinne Bailey Ray).
