About me: When thirsty, it is a common occurrence for me to go into the kitchen, pour myself a glass of water, put the water pitcher back in the fridge, make my way back into the living room, and only a half hour or so later figure out that I left that glass of water sitting on the counter. Sometimes I don't even discover the glass of water until the next day, still dutifully waiting for me to drink it. So I will.
I like music to match the weather.
Sometimes I will drive around the block just to avoid making a three-point turn because I hate them.
When I get cold, my teeth will chatter incessantly, and there's nothing I can do to stop it...other than get warm.
Other than believing in its existence, I do not believe in the flu shot.
When I see tall men run, I try not to giggle because they look like giraffes. And we all know giraffes look funny when they run.
I have no shame about having IM conversations with people who are in the same room as me.
No joke: I am officially allergic to cockroaches.
I get insatiable cravings for ice cream the colder it is outside.
I really like your guy,... thought you should know. You two are so right for each other. Hope all is well with you. I'm back at Pierce for more self-torture and self-doubt. hugs, gigi
not really. I didn't spend much time in Beijing, and all of the development that has occurred in China since I left makes it hard to recognize anything.
so far 30 is good. in many ways not too different . . . but it has a new edge of direction, purpose and excitement in a concrete sort of way. i don't really feel older, just better. :) can't wait for you to join me though - after all it may be great - but it is better when it is not alone. :)
oh...I've started running again. Doing a "Couch-to-5K" series - starting slow though. It's awesome if u r into running though, I'll give you the info! Btw, I love love love love LOVE your default picture!!
It was OK. WE got off at Pershing Square and we had to walk a mile from the red line through the toy district and industrial parts. It was kinda sketchy. I'll know Monday if I had a second interview next week. I have 3 more interviews on Monday and another one is downtown in the fashion district. So we shall see! How's everything going with your new job?
I'm taking the red line to my interview on Friday, but I'm making Andrew go with me since I've never done public transpo. by myself, or like ever really. I'm so excited. What stop do you get off at?
I think it said the solitaire version just starts with 21 tiles. We just kinda wanted to try it out without getting too involved in the rules. Dont' worry - we'll learn to play proper, so we can challenge you two.
Kareena and I bought Bananagrams yesterday based on your recommendation! We played it a bit last night with only 21 tiles and really liked it. Kareena kicked my butt the first time in like a minute. I need a coach or something.
I do work downtown still and I would love to grab lunch, I work Mondays and Thursdays mostly. Also about the plumber friend, to be a liscenced journeyman which is what Ronnie does, you need to complete an apprenticeship program. It is 5 years, and I am not really sure how one signs up for it. But he could also try to be a helper at a company and that is much more menail and requires less expertise, but also doesn't pay as well. If you have any other questions let me know. CONGRATS on the job, i am so happy for you
nice profile photo! :) No preference on position - wherever you think I would do well for the team :) Yeay new jerseys and hope it stays relatively cool!
A weekday is probably better for me. I can't do it Wed. of next week. And I don't think Tue. either. But do any of those other days work for you? (Sorry it took me so long to respond... crazy week for me)
It isnt fair that Gavin likes taking pictures. If I asked Ryan to take a picture like that he would more than likely roll his eyes. I love all the color in the picture.
Life as a mom is going well, although it's been strange learning to adjust my daily routine to fit the demands of an 8 lb creature, lol. She's beautiful though and very, very mellow.
