I have many: My children: My oldest because she's had to go through the stress and pain of watching her younger siblings deal with hospitals and doctors all the time. My other two children for being strong and enduring all that goes with doctor visits and hospital stays. All three of them are troopers! My best friend: Even though she doesn't have kids of her own yet, she happily adjusted to being friends with a mom--a mom who's kids have more needs than most. She traded nights out on the town for nights at home with the kids and a movie. She spent countless hours of her freetime babysitting when I was comforting one of my babies in the hospital. My husband: He has to work his tail off to make ends meet and to provide health insurance. I don't know how he can function on such little sleep. And finally, yes I had to add this, Bon Jovi. When you're finished laughing at the fact that I consider a celebrity a hero, I'll tell you why. Bon Jovi's lyrics have meaning for me. The album Have A Nice Day got me through really tough times. I've laughed with the songs and cried with the songs. Somehow, the music gave me strength when I needed it the most. The group may never know what they did for me, but I always will.
