Jennifer just won "best unsigned pop artist" in Verbicide magazine's Unsigned artist issue! | | Influences | by influences what has possibly effected my sound unconsiously or not? then debussy, ravel, suzanne vega, joni mitchell, tori amos, fiona apple, alicia keys, jonatha brooke, patty griffin, the blues, nina simone, nature and dreams.
if by influences it means what i love then this list would be very different! as in classical, jazz and worldmusic, led zeppelin. my favorite female singers are joni, ella f., nina simone, if male it would be stevie (oh stevie!) and paul simon. but here's a shout-out to all the singers/musicians we never hear of all over the world in little villages and big.
