About me:
My writing career began in fifth grade when I wrote a “book” called “The Adventures of Bridgette Wells” and it became one of the most popular pieces of literature in Miss Wilson's class. Miss Wilson encouraged me to keep writing, which I didn't really take to heart until I was older and joined a local writers' group. In this group, I wrote short stories, poetry, and odd bits of prose. When I started Alverno College in Milwaukee, an advisor looked over my writing samples and said, “We have a real writer here.” Instead of ignoring her, I took her words to heart and really focused on writing while studying my major, ultimately becoming the co-editor-in-chief of the Alverno Alpha.
Through the Alpha, I began to focus on my favorite kind of writing-non-fiction. Non-fiction gives me a chance to write about different topics, interview interesting people, and focus on a writer's need for evidence. I have written about a variety of topics and issues, including entertainment reviews, local activists, entrepreneurs, and alternative wellness issues focusing mainly on yoga.
I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much I enjoyed writing them. Happy reading. I look forward to your comments.

Who I'd like to meet:
Too many writers to mention. And I'd also like to meet some of the people who read and enjoy my writing.
