Though this passion to reach into the music industry with resounding words remains, and with an ever-growing heart to speak into the lives of the unknown and the known, the lost and the found, the seeking and the finding, Jennifer’s zeal lies in words already spoken; “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name I will lift up my hands.” (Psalm 63:2-4)
While actively pursuing the growth of her band, LUCREZIO, Jennifer continues to come back to the heart of her passion through the form of God inspired worship. Jennifer’s plight as a worship leader took shape in her college years, where she found herself traveling with the group Godspeed, serving and leading at different camps throughout the summer of 2003, as well as multiple churches that following year. She also actively led a group of 300 college students on various Sunday evenings by means of an hour long, student-led worship service. Similarly consistent within the extent of her college career, Jennifer served as a vocalist under her local church. Upon her move to Chicago in 2006, she immediately found herself enthusiastically engaged as a volunteer worship leader under WillowChicago, the downtown Chicago campus of Willow Creek Community Church.
An incredibly gifted guitarist (and Jennifer’s better half), Jordan, band member of LUCREZIO, likewise has extensive experience in the realm of worship leading. Throughout his college years, Jordan traveled considerably with the praise band, All Things New, as well as three other college-sponsored praise teams, serving at both camps and churches stretching across the mid-west. He played an avid role as worship leader for a weekly, student-led service, as well as taking on numerous speaking engagements at churches within Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. In 2007, Jordan began his position as worship leader for the Valporaiso Nazarene Church youth group, training up young musicians to use their talents for God’s glory, and live life out with a heart of worship. In the meantime, Jordan continues to act as the Director of Church of Relations under Chicagoland’s hit Christian radio station, Shine.fm.
Jennifer and Jordan continue to seek out opportunities throughout the region that would allow them to lead worship in a variety of capacities. “We have a heart for the church … a heart for God’s people, and above all, a heart for the living God. We desire to see the nations praise Him.”
