Born in Dayton Ohio I started as a piano player and eventually moved onto the saxophone. In high school I was introduced to the first ..Jazz Marching Band.. in the nation, the ..Centerville Jazz Marching Band.. out of Centerville Ohio. My junior year I helped the Jazz take the 1st place National Championships title at the Bands of America National Marching Band Competition held in the Hoosier Dome (now the RCA dome) in Indianapolis, IN. After winning the Louis Armstrong Jazz award and graduating high school I attended the University of North Texas on Scholarship for four years. At North Texas I studied under Jim Riggs, Dan Hearle, Neil Slater and many other distinguished professors. Later on I moved onto the University of South Florida in efforts to learn more about Jazz. I graduated USF in 2000 in Jazz Studies Performance Saxophone. Since then I've been performing as a leader and side man with groups and names such as the Florida Orchestra, The Florida West Coast Symphony, James and Lucky Peterson, Wholly Cats, Lounge Cat, Bombed Out Cat, the Big Z Band, the Midnight Brass, the Dan McMillion Jazz Orchestra, Dan Electro and the Silvertones, and the Fest house Band of Busch Gardens to name a few. I now reside in Southwest Florida.
BT will be performing with the Helios Orchestra as guest on March 3 at St. Petersburg College and at the Iridium of New York for a special show honoring Sting with Randy Brecker, Lou Soloff, and many others July 16 -19. BT Fan site & Management.
No, we didn't get hit too bad here - I was petsitting in Katy at the time (west of Houston), and we just got some rain for a couple of days... Did you guys get anything? I was thinking Edouard missed FLA, but I wasn't sure...
Hi Jen, I am thinking of coming to Florida. I have been thinking about going down to the lower keys. I'd also like to come your way on the way. Maybe during the month of June, after the 8th. What do you think?
