I like to read, sing (pretty much anywhere), listen to music, roleplay (currently my favorite is www.inspired-quills.com, where I am a teacher), play with my kids, go to movies (action, adventure, comedy, suspense; not much of a chick-flick kinda girl unless it's really funny too), talk with my husband late into the night, spend time with my best friends, talk on the IRC, play on Facebook, and play board games or cards. I enjoy painting small wooden or acrylic items and creating home-made cards.
I've made good friends with a guy from Wales (Hi, Lee!) and some others around the world on IQ. It's a great community of HP lovers. Lee has turned me onto some of the fantasy art at elfwood: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/elfwood.pike . Check it out!
You belong in London, but you belong in many cities... Hong Kong, San Francisco, Sidney. You fit in almost anywhere.
And London is diverse and international enough to satisfy many of your tastes. From curry to Shakespeare, London (almost) has it all!
CHECK OUT WWW.LIVEKITE.COM! I used to work with both the guys that run it, and it's great for Christians, especially Christian groups. ;) Give it a shot!

I found Marie Digby on youtube when I was searching some Linkin Park items. She had done "What I've Done", and it was incredibly good. I looked at her original things, and a fan was born! Check her out (her album was released 4/8/08). She is half Japanese, half Irish.
Here are my favorite videos. Come check them out!

What Classic Bombshell Are You?
Audrey Hepburn You are Audrey Hepburn. You are a giving, caring person with a big heart, and beauty to match! You have been through alot, but you didn't let that get you down. The world loves you for who you are, inside and out.
24! Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Angel. Whose Line is it Anyway? American Idol. Home Improvement. CSI - original and NY. House. Smallville. So You Think You Can Dance. Damages. Pushing Daisies.
Books
All the Harry Potter books, including Quidditch Through the Ages and Fastastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Pelican Brief, Runaway Jury, and the Firm by John Grisham. The Oath, This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, and the Prophet by Frank Peretti. Gone With the Wind and Scarlet. The Dragon Lance Chronicles. I liked the first 3 books of the Left Behind series and one or two after that (then they got boring). Star of the Guardians series by Margaret Weis). Piers Anthony's Apprentice Adept series.
.. Which House do YOU belong in? Welcome to try the Sorting Hat Quiz at Try & Trix!
Congratulations! You got a very nice score. You obviously have read the books and remember all those little things. But I guess some of those tricky questions stumped you.
My savior! HE is the reason for EVERYTHING! Thanks for being there with me to laugh, cry, hurt, celebrate, and LIVE, Jesus. You rock.
My dad, Gary. He was very brave during his struggle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, and it was hard to watch him as he struggled to breathe every day. I miss you, Daddy! If you'd like to support the research for Pulmonary Fibrosis, please go here: http://www.helpfightpf.com. Thank you! ..
My husband, for getting up in the morning and doing what every woman wants - keep her family happy, healthy, and secure! Love you, honey! I know it's hard to step out on faith and change jobs, but I think we both agree it was the best thing that's happened to you in a LONG time.
You Are Elektra
There's really no superhero with more style than you.
Because who could beat being sexy assasin ninja?
The Basics: I'm known as Jenn, Jenni, Jennifer, or Miki, depending on how you know me. I love jewel tones but despise neon colors. My most favorite color of the moment is deeeeeep purple! I love my family, music, the outdoors, rain, thunderstorms, my computer, writing, reading, and singing. I like to dance, but I'm proper not good at it, so I stay up late at night so I can dance without interruption. :D I love to play with my hair and my upper-cartilage earrings. I love having my hair played WITH even more. I always cut my toenails too short, and I can't keep polish on them or my fingernails to save my life. I love laughing with my husband, Charles, and pestering him until he wrestles me down and tickles me until I can't breathe. I love singing with my two sons, and laughing with my three sisters and mom. Bugs seem to find me a tasty meal... Little creeps. Make ugly scars. I want to be a published writer. Oh, and I live in my head a LOT! ;) I think those go hand in hand, eh?
Music is my life. Without music, well, wow. I don't know I would do, how I would thrive or survive. It carries me to jubilant and morose places. It strengthens me when I need a lift. It connects me to friends. It's my, yes, soundtrack to life. And better yet, my whole family loves music. I need music like I need air. Nuff said.
I love to read! I am picky about the authors though, so I'm not quick to read something just because it's on the NYT Best Sellers list. I like Frank Peretti, J.K. Rowling, Margaret Weis, James Patterson, and John Grisham. Regarding the Bible, NIV is my version of choice. I've re-read the Dragonlance Chronicles. Dragons rock - as long as they are fantasy. If I saw a REAL one, the dragonfear would definitely overtake me.
I am in my late 30's, and love it. I can do so much now, but I'm no longer naive. I'm also much more confident about my life and who I am. I've lost about 70 lbs., so I just have about 30 more to go. I discovered in the last year or two that I adore role-playing, so I'm active on www.inspired-quills.com (Mikelle Valuma is my name there). YThe site is fun and the people are generally friendly. Look for more to come in the RP field - there may be another site I join called Rivendell...
I'm a strange mix when it comes to people. I tend to like people, then they'll get on my nerves. If you made it into my friends here, you're probably not one of those people. Unfair people annoy me. Unforgiving people annoy me even more. I don't care for people that use their "power" to hurt people. Snootiness is a real downer (I don't care how much money or status you have; just don't be a prat). I love people with a sense of humor tinged with sarcasm. I am attracted to people who can laugh at themselves, but not get so down on themselves that you can't stand to be around them.
I'm married to a wonderful man. We've been married almost 17 years and we have 2 sons. They are 9 and 5. I almost died bringing each one of them into the world, so I can't have anymore children, but they were worth it. Adoption or foster care might be in our future.
My father passed away from pulmonary fibrosis on 11/5/05 (see his pic on the left). He was prescribed a drug, amiodorone, that caused his incurable disease, and my 3 sisters and I are trying to get the word out about this dangerous drug. My father was only 66 (read my blog, which has a letter my sister wrote).
I am the A/P coordinator at a non-profit publications company. I usually like my job. I have lots of freedom, and I actually enjoy 80% of the paperwork. Just don't ever ask me to be a full CPA!
If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm an incredibly huge fan of Harry Potter and some of the websites relating to Jo's books. Each of the movies has been good in one respect or another, but the books are much better, and quite phenomenal. It's all about redemption, baby, so if you think the Cross and HP don't mix, you're mistaken.
This is where I live for my HP fantasies (LOL):
Take the quiz: Which Fairy are you? You are the Fairy Queen You''re the Fairy Queen she's the fairy of the winter. You''re calm and mysterious but sometimes you can explode. The element that belongs to the Queen is Water.
Take the quiz: What Harry Potter Character Are You? Hermione Granger You are hermione Granger extremly smart , and love to read ,and study , and the top person in your class
Frodo You are Frodo my friend. Just because you may have small stature doesn't mean that you have a small heart. You are brave and strong willed, and hey, you destroyed the one ring! Go you!
You're a little nerdy, but no one would ever call you a nerd.
You sometimes get into nerdy things, but only after they've become a part of mainstream culture.
A total shining star with a ton of admirers
And no wonder: you live life to the fullest!
When things get bad, you can easily take off to a happier place
But occasionally, you need to deal with problems head on
You are bold and a true individual. You are very different and very okay with that.
People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts.
You are also very grounded and practical. No one is going to sneak anything by you.
People enjoy your fresh approach to life. And it's this honesty that makes you a very innovative person.
Your soul is painted the color purple, which embodies the characteristics of sensuality, spirituality, creativity, wealth, royalty, nobility, mystery, enlightenment, arrogance, gaudiness, mourning, confusion, pride, delicacy, power, meditation, religion, and ambition. Purple falls under the element of Earth, and was once a European symbol of royalty; today it symbolizes the divine.
You're only human, so you can't help but want a little attention every now and then.
You love the spotlight, but only when it's well deserved. You'd hate to be known for the wrong thing.
And you also don't mind sharing the spotlight. You can easily give someone else credit or a complement.
You know there's enough attention to go around, and it makes you happy when your friends shine.
You come across as: Friendly and interesting
People may wrongly think you're: A little more modest than you actually are!
Who I'd like to meet: J.K. Rowling, 3 Doors Down, Amy Lee, Keifer Sutherland, Will Smith, Jesus, Mel Gibson, Justin Timberlake, and Keith Urban (who was my dad's favorite before he died). I'd also like to meet some of my friends on Inspired Quills. They are such wonderful, fun people. And now I'm adding these musical groups: Within Temptation and Linkin Park. :D
oh no, don't get me wrong, i love the army, and hate my unit. i'm thinking that by 2012, it'll be over for me unless i get a really cool job, and the kids don't deserve this crap
I know this is a bit delayed, but thankyou so much for your congrats and blessings. I'll be majoring in advertising design and production design. I know we haven't talked in a while and IQ really holds nothing else for the graduates, sad that it's faded away, but I miss you and hope to talk to you soon!!
I've been good. Very busy, you know, but good just the same.
The kids are getting so big, and I can't keep up with them. It's SO much fun though.
No, I haven't changed my email address. It's the same, I'll send it in a message so that it won't be available to the public.
So, how's Charles handling being back in school? I'm sure that it's a hassle, but rewarding all the same. Tell him that I expect straight A's. jk
So, I'm just happy that work has wound down for the holidays. You know what I mean? Yep, I can take a little moment to catch my breath before it's full throttle again.
So, I hope that the boys are all great! I'm sure that they are anxious waiting for Santa.
Hey. Thanks for telling me about Tony. Yeah, he's a really good friend of mine from the Army from the first time I was in. We were stationed at Ft. Campbell together. He's really cool. I'll probably call him soon, but no promises because of all the things I have going on. Anyway, kiss those boys for me, and maybe I'll call you this weekend. luv u!
So, what's new? I really love all of your new pics that you have up.
So anyway, how's things. I hear that Charles is doing well in his studies! I'm glad that he is enjoying that program. He definately has the right heart for it, ya know? So, things are good, a little hectic but good. I'm not sure who you are praying for, but you know that I'm all for you in that prayer! luvs you!
