Jennifer Peterson has developed a loyal following of listeners who enjoy her honesty and ability to connect with her audience. Her live performance is powerful with bold lyrics, contagious melodies, and a song-writing style that upholds a tradition of powerful women in music...Carole King, Aimee Mann, Alison Krauss, and many others that have walked the path before her.
The musicians who tour with her are just as compelling: Randy Morris plays infectious melodies on guitar with a unique style that varies from hauntingly beautiful to quirky. Zara Zaharieva, a fiery Bulgarian, mixes styles of jazz and gypsy to create her own flavor of Americana violin.
Jennifer has been a regular guest singer with Lowen & Navarro and has opened for Kenny Rogers, Emerson Drive, Billy Currington, and Gretchen Wilson. She has performed at the legendary Birchmere (Alexandria, VA), the Chicago Cultural Center, Park West (Chicago, IL), The Joint/Hard Rock Casino (Las Vegas, NV), Summerfest - "The World's Largest Music Festival" (Milwaukee, WI), and two of the largest country music festivals, Country USA (Oshkosh, WI) & Countryfest (Cadott, WI).
Originally from Chicago, Jennifer and her husband/guitarist, Randy Morris, recently relocated to Taos, NM for a change of pace. Since arriving in early December 2008, they have had the pleasure of performing with local artists such as Don Conoscenti and Michael Hearn. Jennifer has been performing a collection of fresh songs with new inspiration. She is currently in the studio working on some new recordings and is looking forward to a musically inspired 2009.
