A big THANK YOU to all of the Seattle musicians that have given us a friendly welcome in the Seattle area over the past year. I was sidetracked for a bit - but now devoted full time to music!!! What has been growing in my sleeping artistic cocoon???
Well, THE HAYBURNERS have been born! David Tieman and I have created one helluva super duo we are excited to share with you all -- a mix of our best unrecorded songs, lots of harmonies...folk/alt-country/pop we just dig like all get out!!! So all shows are the duo unless otherwize noted. This self-titled CD will come first this June 2008, and another CD will be out next year year.
Oh, by the way...
I'm always looking to add more house concerts on my schedule. I'd love to give a concert in your living room! I will give you a copy of my cd and walk you through the whole process if you are interested in "supporting the arts" and helping to keep a folk musician on the road and thriving. There's some good links & suggestions on my website (see house concert box on the left side of my homepage) please read it and then e-mail me please if you want to give it a try (and be a songwriter's hero! ).

A bit'o bio:
Jennifer Spector has been writing and performing her songs with her acoustic guitar over a decade. She primarily draws from her love of traditional folk music, with a hint of the smart sassiness of Jazz and a bit of rootsy Americana. She performed on the streets of 14 European Countries in 1996, a year after moving to the American Southwest. Jennifer just moved to great state of Washington and plans to tour around the Northwest as well as some national trips. She mixes her new earthy Northwest outlook with the quick, inevitably sharp wit of a woman coming of age in New Jersey. Her first full-length release Ahead of the Game showcases 10 of her best songs. She will complete a second cd, after THE HAYBURNERS barnstorm the Puget Sound this fall 2008 with their new release in hand!
Always remembering with fondness your singing ~ the same goes for your kindness. Finally ~ here I am - upon the page - and you were asking ...? ~ Yes, I still have words that speak to me - bursting out - 'shy-heart canary' ...hear me roar ~ :>)
Hey!! I think we may be postponing our trip until early October. Wanted to give you a heads up. Can't wait to see you when we do get out there though! Got the CD, thank you so much - and for all your kind words in the jacket... it sounds great - I'm so proud of all the great work the two of you are doing :D
Hey there! did I ever tell you one of the big accounts I'm on at work is King County - and that I talk to people there all day long? I hear you have had a crazy-out-of-character season as far as the weather goes... it's so weird - I forget that that is where you are sometimes! So how IS the weather?
Hey Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by, yes a show with just us gals would be fantastic. Love your tunes and voice, so bright and clear! Have a lovely day.
Hi Jennifer! I've been meaning to add the Hayburners like I said I would... I've only been on this computer 3 times since we met and I don't ever remember until I've turned it off. I've been really busy putting together a promo package for my solo act, and trying to get some songs recorded nicely. I was listening to your CD with my mom just last night, and we love it!
