This is the section where I talk about myself.

It's a good thing I like talking about myself (for the most part, especially when it's one sided). So let's proceed.

First of all, I'm in a wheelchair. Yup, that means I can't walk... not a lick. I have a type of Muscular Dystrophy....NOT Multiple Sclerosis... that's a whole different animal. The actual diagnosis, for those medical and/or genetic buffs out there, is Spinal Muscular Atrophy . I do enjoy getting around and being with people I love and care about, but I tend to be a bit of a loner. I prefer time to myself a LOT, and I don't really get it unless I make it happen myself. I live with my parents, and I have for about 7 years now... wow, time sure flies by! I have an older half-brother. He's nuts... literally. I also had a sister who passed away in 1996. I graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio many years ago, and I actually have two BA's... yes, TWO (English and Psychology). And what do I do for a living? I work at Time Warner Cable as a telesales rep (AKA, Telemarketing). I've worke at TWC for 12 years. Unfortunately, things are making my work less and less enjoyable all the time, but hey, it pays the bills. For entertainment, I enjoy watching TV, playing on my computers, reading, and eating. Travel is fun too.

Speaking of travel, I have been to:

Maine
Toronto
Myrtle Beach
Las Vegas
Niagara Falls
Key West
Orlando (Disney)
St. Petersburg, FL
Hilton Head Island
Washington DC
Eastern Caribbean
and last but not least, The Western Caribbean.
It's hard to say what my favoite was because they're all so different, but I guess I'd have to say Washington DC, Niagara Falls, and Las Vegas were the most interesting. Disney is always fun, especially since we bought into the Disney Vacation Club a couple of years ago.


I am actively working on losing 38 lbs. This is not an easy thing to do when you can't walk, but I'm getting there, slowly but surely. Here's my own little ticker to show my progress:



I tried to add my webcam to this thing, but MySpace doesn't allow the language it is written in, so here's the link to the actual webcam site and you can see me on sometimes (rarely! LOL!!). I need to warn you, if I'm not on my camera, it links to the main page of the sight that the cam is on and there are some sites that will show adult subject matter that some people might find objectionable. This is simply a warning. My webcam is child-safe. I would recommend for viewing that you right mouse-click and click on "open link in new window", that way you can stay logged into my FANTABULOUS page and view at the same time! How much fun would that be??!!

I've been working on my Family Tree for several years now. If you want to check it out, feel free. Who knows, we might be related!!! Some family names include: Lewis, Jones, Pigg, and Lamb. Also, I belong to The Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR), so if you have any questions, I might be able to help... although I honestly don't really know that much about it.
