Jenny Beck is a Swedish singer/songwriter. She relocated to the UK in 2001 to further her music career and has since written, produced and recorded four CDs that have attracted much attention from record labels, the music press, radio stations and internet music sites world-wide. Though her main genres are Folk/Pop and Acoustic music she is often experimenting with various kinds of genres, such as R&B, Pop, Soul and Blues - genres that feature on her CD "On The Outside" which is available to order on this page, through the official Jenny Beck website, iTunes, tapintomusic.com and TuneTribe, to name but a few online shops. The CD is also distributed by the world's leading digital distributor of music, The Orchard.
Jenny's songs are frequently being played on internet and FM radio stations world-wide and her tracks have featured on many successful compilation albums. Her CDs have received rave reviews from the music press, radio stations and internet e-zines all over the world. She has recently come back from a tour of Nashville (US) and Holland. In Nashville she performed at the legendary Bluebird Cafe (sold out show) during the Americana Conference and toured Holland with her four piece backing band doing live radio shows and album release gigs in November 2007. She has also recently started co-writing and collaborating with a few Nashville songwriters, Celia Whitler, Crissy Wix (Blue Magnolia Publishing) and Hollie Jett being three of them. Celia and Jenny co-wrote a track called "Grey Skies Blue" in October 2007, which will be added to this myspace page shortly. Jenny is going back to Holland in December 2007 to begin the recording of a new album and will also be touring the country in early 2008 (tour dates TBA). She will also be back in the US in April 2008 for a month's tour visiting Nashville, New Orleans, Florida and Chicago. So, make sure you check this page regularly for tour and album release dates.
In Autumn 2007 Jenny signed to Dutch production company and record label LB Music Production and she is currently in company owned Soundwave Studios in Zaandam outside Amsterdam recording a brand new album, planned for release late 2008 (release date TBA).
Jenny Beck has a very refreshing and clear sound and with the time, dedication and passion it takes to write, record, produce, release and promote CDs independently she has proven she is an artist with wagon-loads of ambition and is a name to remember.

An exclusive press and media performance and conference took place on November 8th 2007 at The Kade in Zaandam and further gigs open to the public took place in Amsterdam the same week. Jenny performed live at several radio stations, including national Radio 5 on Desmet Live (see video above). Jenny performed with a full backing band (Zjon on bass, Emile on drums, Nils on guitar, Jeremiah ..boards and Nell on backing vocals). Jenny will be back in Holland in December to record a single called "Hide Away" (see live radio performance of the track above) and again in February to promote the collection album as well as brand new material which is to be recorded with LB Music Production at Soundwave Studios in Zaandam. Tour dates and live radio performances TBA.

The new track version was co-produced by Mitch Deighton and arranged by Simon Blight at Brainbox Music. It also features Simon Blight ..boards, guitar and bass and Ricky Lee Barber on lead guitar.
