Jenny was born in Galveston, TX and grew up in Birmingham, AL. She began learning fiddle at age 4 and has spent time as part of the vibrant music scenes of Nashville, TN and Austin, TX.
She has performed with/ recorded with with Bill Emerson, Red & Chris Henry, Dale Crider, The Daughters of Bluegrass, Jimmie Don Bates & The Texas String Drive, Mark Rubin’s Ridgetop Syncopators, Glenn Tolbert, Johnny Gimble, Dale Watson, Erik Hokkannen, Ace In The Hole Band, Jason Bailey Band, and Rodney Hayden.
Jenny also sings and writes her own songs.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and now makes her home in Virginia.
