I have been photographing bands and artists from across London and the UK since 2005. My work involves promotional shoots, tour photography, documentation and set shoots for CD and vinyl sleeves and design work.
I have been very fortunate with where my photography has taken me and the artists I have been able to work with who include The Charlatans, Babyshambles, Shane MacGowan, Dirty Pretty Things, The Who and many more (For full archive please see my website www.jennyhardcore.co.uk).
Over the past eighteen months I have worked predominantly with The Charlatans, maintaining various tour’s photo-diaries, undertaking set shoots for press and publicity, assisting with sleeve art including a 200 image collage included in the latest album ‘You Cross My Path’ and design work where requested.
My published work for press includes Time Out, The Guardian Guide, NME, Attitude magazine and Artrocker. I have contributed images for sleeve design to The Charlatans, The Holloways, Frank Turner, Lupen Crook and more. Exhibitions include Tom-tom gallery in Covent Garden, Nambucca Holloway Road and The Boogaloo in Highgate. In July of 2007 I contributed eleven images to the large format art book ‘Punk – a directory of modern sub-versive youth culture’.
Images have been published in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Russia.
I am available for shoots and currently offering a specific package to unsigned bands designed to help them with promotion, press and artwork. If you are interested please get in touch via my website.
I also have images on sale for public or private use; again please use the website for any enquiries.
Many Thanks for your time.
