I'm a thinking, feeling person, a band, a member of collectives, a vinyl collector/player/peddler, a bike rider and a sister (and a "bro"). My favorite band is Chicago. I like green and blue and brown. And certain orange.
I run GREAT HEREAFTER MUSIC Distro - check lower on the page for the deal.
I'm a member (guitar, vocals, horns, spazzing) of Erase Errata.
I'm also a founding member of the FABULOSA Arts and Music Collective which, among other things, plans FABULOSA FEST. The Women-centered Music, Art and Film festival for charity happens once a year in Guerneville, CA and is awesome. I can't wait for the next one: July 17-19, 2009 !!!

I've got copies of Rare, Out Of Print 7"s for sale!
California Lightening, Erase Errata, Paradise Island...
This is the incredible, hard to find early stuff!
**the famous first Erase Errata 7" (both 1st and 2nd pressings) with handmade covers. These are really rare and are the most desirable Erase Errata collectors items. I see them on EBay going for $40 (?). I am selling them for much cheaper, I promise.
**several different California Lightening 7”s (the Noise Rock pre-curser to Erase Errata w/Erase Errata's Bianca Sparta on drums and me on vocals/guitar), including the first CL release with hand assembled covers.
**several split 7"s (between Erase Errata and the Gossip, Sonic Youth, Peaches and many other greats)
**both of the Dim Mak and Troubleman Unlimited Paradise Island 7”s.
To order or to see a complete list of everything I have in stock, msg me through myspace!
OTHER MUSIC available from me - I take paypal :)
**"Isle Of" - JENNY HOYSTON LP/CD Quirky, genre-crossing collection of pieces. The reviews have been crazy positive (Rolling Stone gave it 3.5 stars out of 4!?).
**"Seeing Spots" - PARADISE ISLAND CD - on Lattitudes (UK) label! This 4-song CD contains darkly melodic, vox/guitar/Mattel drum machine tracks recorded live or near-live with HARVEY BIRRELL at Southern Studios in London one afternoon. The "highest-fi" you'll hear from me. Limited edition 1000, brown on brown hand-printed covers with my sketch art.
**"The Hallways of Always" - WILLIAM ELLIOT WHITMORE & JENNY HOYSTON CD duets and other music produced by LUKE TWEEDY (the Shadow Government) - out on Southern. Sad and pretty pieces.
**Lines Are Infinately Fine - PARADISE ISLAND CD/LP - first solo full length, all 4 track cassette bedroom recordings - still my favorite release!
**"Don't Worry" Its not a recording, its a zine! I made the first issue last winter. Its about dating, list making and consciously constructing a good life. Awesome writers contributed, like TARA JEPSEN, LISA CHARBONNEAU and MICHELLE TEA(!).
**Get Up - PARADISE ISLAND 7" and CD EP - three songs. Includes the John the Baptist cover that everyone loves...

ETC:
"From a certain perspective, Jenny Hoyston is one of San Francisco's unsung talents. Sure, her achievements in Erase Errata have been well documented and internationally appreciated, but consider the whole woman, not just the guitar/trumpet/vox monster. Musical projects abound, including the ukulele-driven Paradise Island and other solo projects as well as the recent CD Hallways of Always with friend William Elliott Whitmore. But at the monthly queer-friendly literary night K'vetsh, Hoyston goes Renaissance woman to become a writer and editor as well. Who knew? Her ..zine, Don't Worry, is subtitled "You're Breaking Up" this issue, and includes contributions by Michelle Tea, Tara Jepsen, and lots of other locals."

This website has a clip of me doing a boozy dead cover at the opening of the Her Noise exhibit at South London Gallery. There's also a warm-up, impromptu jam session between Kim Gordon, Jutta Koether and me. This was probably the most fun I've ever had in the UK. http://www.thewire.co.uk/web/camera.php
Write if you'd like to mailorder Paradise Island LPs, CDs, 7"s, Erase Errata rarities or zines!
