I love shopping, traveling, swimming, kickboxing (when I am motivated), reading, movies, concerts...you name it and I am probably game.
Music
Love mostly everything. I especially love to go to concerts! I have been lucky enough to see a lot of great people...George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Aerosmith, Kiss, Velvet Revolver, Nickelback, Stone Temple Pilots, Poison, the list goes on and on. If a band can't play live, they don't need to be recording music.
Movies
I will watch anything...romance, action, thriller, horror, musicals.
Television
GREYS, Private Practice, The Office, Swingtown, Sex and the City, True Blood, Nip/Tuck, King of the Hill, Oprah, and I Love Lucy re-runs.
Books
I read whenever I can, which is never enough. Love magazines, older Stephen King books, Chick Lit, Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner. I am really into the Twilight series. Right now I am reading:
Heroes
St. Jude's is currently working to save the life of someone very special to me. Please consider being a St. Jude's Partner In Hope. Children with cancer need your $19 a month more than you ever will.
About me: I am orginally from Silver Spring, MD, but I have lived in Warner Robins, GA for about 13 years. I been married for 13 years to my husband, Chris. We have two very rowdy boys...Kyle, 10 and Dylan, 8. I have an awesome group of friends that I am so blessed to have in my life! My first love is probably shopping, but my close second is traveling. Making my way around the US while my kids are still at home, then will move on to international travels. After over 8 years working to a non-profit association in Macon, I recently took a new job in Warner Robins at the Finance Manager for the Museum of Aviation. Still doing some contractual work for my old company. Between my work, family and friends, it is easy fall short on time for the things I love. I remind myself often that life is not about work but about living and that is what I intend to do. A perfect day for me would be spent traveling to a new place with my family or shopping and pedicures with my friends. Life is good!
Who I'd like to meet: So many people, so many reasons
Thanks for the support but it wasn't a job after all. After driving 50 miles down there, I was informed that it wasn't a job, but a career opportunity. They are a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) outfit call Prime America. MLM's are a "barely legal" scheme like Amway, Avon, Prepaid Legal, and etc. and congress has tried before to outlaw them.
Chris (boyfriend) and I are headed to Chattanooga, TN (ruby falls and all) this weekend to take his father there, whom is visiting him from MN. Any suggestions, tips, or ideas...especially ideas on what to do at nightime after all the attractions are closed at like 6ish?
The ice skating was fun! Check on the Macon Coliseum's website for the start times for each session. Then get there about 30 mins before that so that you can get thru the ticket line and skate line before the crowd. It was well worth the $8 to skate for 2. 5 hours! We had a blast and were so tired afterwards!
