General
Music, Movies, and Books! I love to travel, there are so many places to see. I'm not really sure I could pick what place I want to go to first! Spending time with good friends is always a must. I am a big fan of red wine, pinot noirs and cabernets are my preference. I enjoy going down to the beach, day or night, and watching and listening to the water. Unfortunately I don't get down there as often as I would like. Attending friends live shows is always fun and inspiring. There's always more but that's the gist of it! :o)Music
I like most types of music, hip hop, pop, down tempo, but I'm a definite rocker at heart! I love to listen to Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Nikka Costa, Portishead and Morcheeba. Muse, Tool, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, and Coldplay to name a few, rank at the top of my list. For a change of pase I enjoy Common, Erykah Badu and others. Music's my passion, I can't help but love them all!Books
I really enjoy reading a good book. Currently one of my favorite authors is Tracy Chevalier. I recently finished reading 'Middlesex' by Jeffrey Eugenides, very good. Dan Brown is a great suspense writer and if you haven't read 'Memoirs of a Geisha' yet by Arthur Golden you are really missing out! I just finished 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini and all I have to say is WOW, it was an excellent book. If anyone has any suggestions on books they enjoy, please let me know!

About me:
I Live in Los Angeles, CA but I am originally from Omaha, NE. Go Huskers!! I sing, play the piano and guitar, writing all my own music. I attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe Arizona, where I met many people who will always leave an imprint in my life. The summer after Arizona I lived in Hong Kong to complete my intership for the Conservatory. The internship was for GoGo Records which was a small Dance Label in Hong Kong. They also did distribution for some local artists. I moved to Los Angeles in the Fall of 2002 and have been here ever since. Creativity is abundant here in many of the local open mics. Most of my inspiration comes from life experiences or from my close friends whose stories move me, bringing new songs to life. Currently I am working for a business bank in downtown Los Angeles. Most days it leaves me time to pursue my passion. I'm a libra, and my favorite colors are red and pink.
