Originally from Liverpool, Jenny has played in various types of bands, duos, trios etc, performing in venues all over the country and on the continent since the age of 15. She has also appeared on local radio and regional television programmes in North West England as well as playing at the very first International Beatles Festival in Liverpool.
Jenny is also a post-op transwoman who transitioned several years ago and, after overcoming the obvious hurdles along the way, got back on the road some years back. She played in various bands often taking on the role of lead vocals, then in recent years played covers up and down the country as a solo act.
Lately she has been focusing on writing/recording her own material and has also started collaborating with Laura Handbag and Christine as a member of a tranny-band called The Treacles.
Hello! How are you doing? Stopping by to listen to your tracks. Just had a gig yesterday, it was fun. Finished recording 4 songs recently. 2 are uploaded. Next gig on the 14th. But taking it easy today. Might go to the supermarket to get some Sugar Puffs! lol Take care and have a great week! Walki.
Thanx for the re-add! I noticed a few profiles simply disappeared and some got messed-up. I wonder what's wrong with MySpace sometimes! Anyway, it was good to see you again at the Striplight gig. Sorry I wasn't very talkative, but I felt rather tired. Insomnia still has a grip on me. Otherwise, keeping busy. Trying to finish recording 4 tracks by the middle of the month...... Have an excellent weekend! Walki.
Nice meeting you yesterday and thanx for the add! Keep me posted about your gigs, please! See you at a Striplight or Girls On Top gig! Take care, Walki.
