Music by my friend David William of Canada, especially the songs "Wonderful" and "Sweetest Whisper". Also, my friends from the "Off the Clock" CD, including Claire Bradley's "Hallelujah". Use the scrollbar on the embedded image below to sample the album and then go buy it! You won't regret it.
Lost and Heroes. Jenny only watches shows with "real" men - like her DH! (...but her guilty pleasures are Survivor, The Apprentice, and The Amazing Race.

I temporarily replaced the song "In These Shoes" with "Shannon" to acknowledge the passing of our beautiful Miss Scarlet, who died unexpectedly the morning of October 12, 2007.
Miss Scarlet was a chocolate Siamese mix we rescued 4 years ago from a no-kill shelter in Lawton, Oklahoma.
We searched online for weeks before settling on that facility and this precious kitten (3 months old at the time and originally found under a bush at Mathis Brothers Furniture by a shelter worker). We named her "Miss Scarlet" because she was so beautiful and so demanding yet sweet as could be when she got her way. We loved her from the first time we saw her picture on the facility's website.
Miss Scarlet was to be the traveling companion of our then 1-year old chocolate Siamese, Miss Kitty, for our trip to Okinawa 3 years ago. They quickly became inseparable "sisters", sleeping curled up together and sharing everything.
Poor little Miss Scarlet started getting sick the night before last and passed away shortly before we woke up this morning. We took her to the veterinarian where they performed a Necropsy examination and discovered she'd had a "congenital hernia" that would inevitably kill her - it was just a matter of time.
I kept my interview appointment with the ladies from SpouseBuzz.com's radio show this morning but it was most likely the hardest thing I've ever done.
I play "Shannon" in Miss Scarlet's honor while I grieve for the furry rub against my ankles and the smack of her tail if I wasn't paying attention.
I miss you, Scarlet. We miss you.
