About me:

Welcome to The Jenral Group (Jenral Productions Ltd., Jenral Publishing Ltd., Jenral Management Ltd. & Jenral Events Ltd.) where our main aim is to push signed and upper echilon unsigned talent right to the very top. We believe that through our influential friends and industry contacts that we can greatly influence a band's career. The source of our confidence comes not only through the diversity of roles that the directors bring to the party, but also the deep respect and friendship that we have for one another. Who are the musketeers and how do they fit into The Jenral Group?

Paul Knowles (aka General): -
As a graduate of London's School of Audio Engineering, Paul was a sound engineer at Jacobs Studios (Farnham) and Whitmore Studios (London) and worked with a number of top record producers and engineers who passed on their wealth of industry knowledge and contacts. Paul's own music projects have been met with interest from a few high flyers at Polygram and this brought more high-level industry contacts. After a short break from the industry, Paul decided to get involved in the corporate side of the industry and utilised the industry contacts that he had previously made, taking on the role of management for a couple of unsigned acts (Boa [aka The Stawls] and Inakin) and created many great opportunities for the bands. Around the same time, arranging tours brought events into the fray and Paul soon saw the benefits of merging a career in band management with top class events. Paul is the National Director for England and Wales of The Global Battle of the Bands (www.gbob.com), the largest band competition in the world spanning 36 countries in 2007. Paul's international network of 'can do' professionals in and around the music industry continues to grow.

Roo Pigott (aka Roocifer): -
Roo is a self-titled "New Musical Entrepreneur" whose current portfolio of businesses includes a record label, a management company, a publishing company and a mobile technology company where he often acts as a consultant to many companies within these diverse fields. Roo is the current music industry representative for the CDI Leadership Group of Sheffield where he has been assigned with planning the next 10 years of creative and cultural development for the city of Sheffield. Roo has over 10 years of experience in developing and running music festivals and over 20 years experience of working in the music industry. He’s been an owner of successful music venues, a signed artist and has crewed many of the UK’s biggest festivals from Glastonbury to the V festivals.

Laurance Traverso (aka Traverso): -
As a graduate of London’s Music Institute, Laurance worked as a freelance music producer and composer for various companies including BMG, Sanctuary Castle and Rainbow, before launching his own production company, Just Productions, in early 2000. His entrepreneurial mindset has since brought about the expansion of the brand in the form of Just Records and Just Events. Laurance has worked in many countries across the globe including long stints on the west coast of the U.S. The group of Just companies and their growing teams of songwriters, musicians and visual media professionals are solely dedicated to creating music that aims to capture that perfect moment in recording to captivate an audience’s imagination. Laurance is a current Princes Trust mentor for the music industry in the Southwest of England and is currently signed as an artist to A-Z records. He is also planning to open a new recording facility in West London later this year.
