We are looking to connect with other pet owners and animal lovers in general! We re-named the new boy and are calling him Sixx. :) He's a real love. Quite the kissy boy actually. He seems a little scared of men or maybe scared of being handed from one person to another though. I think he likes it to be his own idea.

So I still can't thank you enough for the boys. :) They're so awesome. Such friendly little guys and so curious! We're still trying to find the time to build them a little playpen so that they can run around more freely while we supervise.

I can't believe how big they are already!

So the boys are swarming to the front of the cage now whenever I come in to say hello. What a great feeling.

:) We're going to build them a playpen doo-dad thingy so that we can let 'em run around more, at least until they get bigger and are easier to catch! lol They're getting so big already though! Walter especially is a porker! How's your zoo?!

Thanks Jenny. :) I don't even know if we'll get to the point of putting them in the same cage. I know I'd like for the older boy to have company, but I don't know if he'd actually want it after living alone for so long. I still have yet to meet him. Maybe tonight! In the meantime, the boys are making progress. They all pretty much come out on my hand for treats now. :) Still a little skittish with sudden movements though and some are more squirmy than others.

Sooooo...we may be taking in another rat boy. Supposedly he's already 3 years old. Haven't met him yet, but Jason has. One of his co-workers has him and just up and decided to get rid of him.

:( Any suggestions on quarantine?
