Jens Wernick is a Munich based Songwriter who draws his inspiration from a large variety of genres. Growing up on a strong background of classical music and jazz he discovered folk and country music as easily as Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Soul and Latin Music for his songwriting. Starting out as a singer-songwriter he recenly has been concentrating very much on songwriting. As a result of this in spring of 2009 5 of his songs (1 original and 4 collaborations) have been released on German singer/guitarist Solly Aschkars debut-CD "Miles" which has been recieved very well by critics and audience in Germany. "A good song is like a 3 minute movie for your mind". With this claim Jens concentrates on telling stories from his personal experience offering pictures and atmosphere's which allow the listener to see his or her own movie.
