Do you know what really make the world go round…? It’s dreams.
I like to think that a dream is very much like a door to open, a door you’ve never seen before. You crave to unlock it, cross the threshold and move into it, on the other side there is a secret world waiting for you.
The truth is that you can only spot these enchanted doors with your own mind, that’s why I really believe that one of the most significant thing to do in life is to keep your mind wide open. You know, for me keeping your mind open means to dance with the stars. It’s all related to the stars, my songs as well.
To dance with the stars means being able to play with your dreams.
Every star in the sky represents one world, which is secret and delicate, on a star you see better, you can see with the eyes of a child. Every star in the sky is a possible smile, the more the better.
The positive thing is that even though a star is extremely distant and impossibly far reaching, it’s remarkably visible and so bright that you just can’t miss it, it’s there for you, every night, all you have to do is close your eyes.
On a star you can lay all of your dreams without bothering for anything, they are the best guardians you can conceive, everything is so safe there for only you have the key to go inside…no one ever will be able to make out what’s on your star, unless you don’t show somebody the way, in that case you allow that person to see your dreams, you give that person the possibility to help you in case you’d loose your smile somewhere, a hidden smile is a nasty business.
If something can exist in your mind can even exist out of it, it’s all up to you. When I read a book or watch a movie, when I listen to a song or when I stare at a picture I can feel that world, I’m part of it and in those twinkling moments that world does exist for sure, it might be just for a split second, but it’s awesome because you can keep it for the rest of your life if you want to.
I know it’s not good to dwell on dreams, but to play with them and give them a chance it’s a great thing to do.
It really makes the world go round!
