  • General

    Playing with my kids, entertaining you on the radio, acting, karaoke, singing/writing music, playing online, reading, doing anything creative that feeds the soul and sending love and positive vibes to everyone I encounter.

  • Music

    All kinds! Some I like more than others, but I can appreciate most kinds of music. I grew up with Top 40 (so I'll give a shoutout to Q-94 in Richmond, VA) and was a HUGE fan of rap music too. I still remember when my Whodini and Run DMC cassettes disappeared - I cried. These days I listen to a little bit of everything... whatever moves me at the time. And I love finding new artists on the internet. There is so much talent out there!

  • Movies

    The 5th Element is my favorite movie. I dig the Opera scene... that chick is on fire! I have so many movies that I love that I can't list them all here. I'm a fan of campy, fun movies that I quote in life and will stop on if I see them while channel surfing - Better Off Dead, A Christmas story (the best Christmas movie ever, but Elf is next on my list), The Breakfast Club (I snuck into this as I wasn't 17 and it was R rated), The Princess Bride ... any many more that just aren't coming to mind right now.

  • Television

    I don't watch a ton of it, but I really like Nip/Tuck. I also enjoy watching Entourage (on DVD - I don't have HBO). I also like Medium, Heroes, Lost and I'm starting to dig The Mentalist, Simon Baker is awesome in that role.

  • Books

    I'm a big fan of personal growth type books (I won't list all my mentors here) and I also really like Stephen King - who doesn't? The Stand is my fave. And I'm a big fan of Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" series for many reasons. I love reading the history of Scotland (some of my ancestors are from there) as well as the history of the colonization of America (I'm from VA so I recognize the names of places from the 1700's as ones I grew up in and around) as well as her descriptive writing style and the slightly sci-fi underlying theme in the books. (Other fans will understand this.)

  • Heroes

    My heroes vary from day to day. I can always count my mother and father among my list of heroes. But sometimes just an ordinary person who touches me in an extraordinary way is a hero to me.
