About me:
I am a Poetess/ Author/ and Lyricist..........a lover of life, music, and poetry. I published my first book over two years ago (Reflections The View From My Window book that I am no longer marketing that is until I have it reedit. I have a second book that will be out real soon...I am currently working on a number of projects all of which I pray are well received by many. Some of you may remember me from Def Poetry Jam's website, or as the advice columnist for DieNamic Magazine...or just simply from my poetry...I want you all to know that I will take this journey on Myspace seriously initially I signed on to my space back in 2005 only I never did anything with the page and from what I am learning this can be a great instrument for networking and making friends..however I may rotate my top friends from time to time to help advertise for some of them so if you see your space being moved around please know that I love you no more or no less then I did the day before...now my baby girl she will remain number one you see I have to live with her and she may get on my last nerve LOL. No I don't possess a certain image, I have no certain style of dress
I just do my best
I don't get caught up in what a Poet should or shouldn't look like to be accepted
After all this is a gift not a uniform, I just speak words and hope that they are receptive
Some days you may find me hair pulled tightly in a bun, glasses hanging down near my nose
Speaking limericks so that my essence shows
Or you may even find me dressed in denims, torn dark indigos
Speaking rhymes so that my blackness shows
water blue skies, green grass, fire and earth tones
Flipping verses bad to the bone
Or you may find me in a dashiki giving respect to all the last Poets
Strong for the revolution, black love and respect inherited from all the great Poets

I know I spend a lot of time talking about things that I love…well let me tell you what really pisses me off/
Females who think that a man is supposed to take care of them and bring nothing to the table. Sister who give their mind, body, and souls for a pair of designer jeans and a handbag…a female who will fuck a dude for who he is called (The Man, Big Pimp, Jigga whateva you get the point) and not make love to him for WHO he is. I can't stand anyone who is vain who thinks that they have the right to call another ugly…when none of us chose the way that we look, when we know that we are all made in his likeness BEAUTIFUL….I can't stand takers who never give nothing in return.,,,, Liars thieves and cheaters….deceivers who mislead themselves and don’t even know it. I hate those that victimize children rapist and murders I want to douse them in gasoline and throw a match on them….I hate cockroaches they creep me efff out….and most importantly I hate those that rise to the top and look down on others instead of looking at them and saying Hey Thanks for being a fan……I hate those that when they give a concert they throw money into the crowd and watch their fans run like fools and scramble to the floor for the cash..(come on that ain't cool).I hate those who don't even take the time out to even read the about me section of your myspace page before clicking APPROVE….LOL Hey what can I say I to have to have a bad side…but I am working on it, by recognizing each and everyday that I am a work in progress and with that said even those that I hate can be loved by me and this is why my goal is to spread enlighten messages through my poetry. Hey hate me or love me but by all means feel me…now the victimizers of children well..they don't stand a chance, lets just say that even the poor cockroach has more of a chance then they do..
