It was nice to meet you in person on staurday and thanks for the tip on replacement gears, it may come in handy when I am low on gears and dont want to wait for shipping. On a side note, do you have any ideas on where I might be able to get Victrola parts, in particular the speaker horn, the kind that flowers out? Also if you post any of the Vigilante pictures please let me know, so I can save them myself. Second side note we entered the costume competion and recieved accomadation for my vest and the Misses' hat.
Thanks for the add I just signed up for your mailer for the steampunk worlds fair. I can't wait to go I am new to steampunk but I have always loved Victorian style but was never really into how the gothic crowd did it. This seems to be the best fit of imaginary and good old Victorian class. If you are promoting or know anything going on in Boston please let me know.

It looks hopeful for me to return next weekend. I'm just waiting for a final confirmation before I buy my tickets. I'm going to do my best to put together a steampunk outfit, but I'm on an extremely tight budget, so it's going to have to be at least 90% stuff I already own. My fingers are crossed I can make it work. See you soon (I hope!)
Out of curiosity, where is your base of operations? Or is "around here" just the North East in general? Because believe me, I would certainly have welcomed the aid of your expertise.
I also caught CF live about a year ago. They're not on the East coast much, which makes me wonder if it was the same tour. The venue I saw them at was terrible and nobody's sound was right, which made the show far less enjoyable than it could have been. I had the same experience with them afterward, though. They were extremely friendly and good to their fans.
I'll have to see if I can't find some music to share with you, that you may not have already heard...
So far we seem to have absurdly similar taste in music, so I'll happily listen to whatever you send my way. I can't tell you how exciting it is to meet a Creature Feature fan that I didn't create myself.
I still have my fingers crossed for closing weekend. I got an email from Jeff late last night which said "I haven't forgotten about you." I'm not sure if that means he's making headway with his backers or just that he's still trying either way, I've started scouring my closet in the hopes of assembling an outfit that at least approaches steampunk.
I definitely WANT to come back the third weekend. I've arranged to have the weekend off from my day job, so right now the ball's in Jeff's court. I know he wants me to come back, but he has to convince his backers that it's worth spending the money on me. I've dropped my stipend, but I can only drop it so much before I'm spending more money to get there than I'm making, you know? I'd be able to drop it a good deal more if I had someone to carpool with, but it turns out I'm the only lunatic coming from south of the Mason-Dixon.
