Spirituality is so often confused with Religiosity, even many times by those who claim they are religious. I've met atheists with more Spirit in their lil pinkie than some claiming to be church elders. I've worshipped in houses of almost all the major religions and read all the major books, and I've come to realize the only religion worth having is one based in Love, the currency of the universe. It is the force that can erradicate all forces, especially those aimed from the barrel of a gun. In the end Spirituality is Loving oneself and ones fellow human beings. In these actions weather you believe in a higher power or not, you are paying homage to the universal oneness of us all. My interests coincide with this oneness, weather through the performance of a Spirit word piece, the time and effort I put into a film production, posing for a picture or simply hugging my brother and telling him I'm proud of him- (Which of course he'd rather turn around and punch me in the arm, baiting me into a wrestling match, but we all have our way of showing love, no?) Here's a great link for all those still searching...

Music
..I am admittedly a music junkie, gaining my high from discovering a band before any one else I know, remixes or b-sides from an artist that practically no one in America has heard, or producing my own remixes from obscure bands and sometimes putting my vocals down on them for my own amusement (Just like P-Diddy baby =) Right now I'm listening to El-P's "Collecting The Kid", The Dears new one "Protest", Scott Weiland's "12 Bar Blues" and Cannibal OX's "The Cold Vein". I am also a devoted acolyte of the Church of Bjork, The temple of Ben Harper, The Ashram of Dead Can Dance, The hall of Peter Gabriel and The Altar of Pink Floyd, along with minor deities such as Janes Addiction, Tribe Called Quest, Tool, Crystal Castles, Piano Magic, Hooverphonic, Mos Def, Otis Redding, Common, Sigur Ros, Air, Team Sleep, MF Doom, Miles Davis, Blue, Yeasayer, Ceelo Green, Prophit, The Mars Volta, Portishead and too many others to name in name. Here is a link to my music, as well as my video work, enjoy =)

Movies
Dang, guess I'm a film junkie too, although I hardly remember any before 1998 when my film history professor screened "Roger and Me" by the little know chubby trouble maker Micheal Mizoore and changed my life! Just saw "God Is On The Air" by Jordi Malla, brilliant, highly recommended! Some of my fav's are "Shawshank Redemption", "City Of Lost Children", "Dark City", the "Lord Of the Rings Trilogy", "Time Bandits", "Brazil", anything by Terry Gilliam, Pierre Jeuneat, Alex Proyas, Guillermo Del Toro, Luc Besson and of course the precocious Mr. Moore, anything fantasy orientated (Save for the horrendous "Kull the Conqueror", blaahhh wretched. ) as well as those that fall under the Spiritual Cinema category, those singular films of inspiration and redemption that touch on the universal. ("Field Of Dreams", "The Hurricane" , "Life As a House," "Hotel Rwanda", "Grand Canyon", "Powder" etc.) Here's a link for all those looking for any Spiritual media knowledge, great reviews etc. LINK
Television
Frankly I can go a lifetime without watching anything on the tube...cept for sports. Gotta watch them ESPN highlights, as well as Sunday football games and playoffs in all the big 3, the best reality shows on TV! LINK
Books
I'm an avid reader. I've been averaging about 1 book every 3 weeks to a month. Just finished a fantasy noire set in the 50's titled "The Magus" by John Fowles. Before that is was the "Wizard & The Glass" by Stephen King, and before that it was "Memnoch The Devil" by Anne Rice. You populist snobs can say anything you like, but "Memnoch" was truly a revelation. It really made me examine within myself my thoughts on Judeo Christian depictions of Heaven, Hell, God and the Devil, in as brilliant a manner as I've ever experienced in a fiction piece. As for non-fiction, I highly recommend several books that too changed my life, including "The 4 Agreements", by Don Miguel Ruiz, "The Call", by Oriah mountain Dreamer, & the entire "Parallel Sayings" series, wherein different authours compare scripture for scripture, Jesus' word's to the other major prophets, including Lao Tzu, Buddha and Mohammed. A great site for that as well is
EdenDustVerse .

Who I'd like to meet: I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't like to meet a beautiful woman with a Spirit of kindness and gentleness, whose intellect puts mine to shame and whose goodness transforms me into a better man. Myspacers with good hearts and a sense of the abstract, a pulse for the off beat, a hate for the mundane, and a burning desire to face life like a matador and ole the shizzle out of it need also apply !!! P.S.To those who honor me with a friend request, could you also honor me with an e-mail to let me know a little about yourself (Kinda like the real world eh, LoL)
