Since purchasing his first keyboard and guitar at the young age of 13, Jeremiah Cosner has mixed poetry with melody and created a unique and catchy sound. Once Cosner found his talent and unveiled his passion for performing he joined a garage rock band as a front man. He and the band made a good run, but decided to depart due to lack of motivation and creative differences. Jeremiah focused on new material and went back to his bedroom roots and put together piece by piece, a music collection that has gradually seized the attention of a cheering audience.
Jeremiah Cosner studied Music at Indiana University and put on live gigs when not in the classroom. Since graduating in 2007, he has made appearances around the Midwest, way out West, and far East. As an experimental rock n' roll singer/songwriter, Cosner builds his music on strong lyrics and is influenced by synthetic electronic pop/rock that is continually incorporated into his creations. He was announced as "Indiana's Home Grown Buzz" in the summer of 2008. Immediately following his achievement, Jeremiah put together an acoustic tour through independent coffee shops, whiskey stops, and artistically flared theatres.
Recently, Jeremiah Cosner has picked up a few sponsors (Rebel Prep and Crown Royal), opened for national touring acts (Matt White, Derek James, Jeremy Buck and the Bang!), been played on several Midwest radio stations, and added a drummer and bass player to the show. For the past six years Jeremiah Cosner has been touring and playing solo acoustic. Ryan Rody, a hip 26 year old veteran drummer, approached Jeremiah in the winter of 2008 and said, “You need to add some drums, so let’s get this project started.” Three months past and Jeffrey Alexander, a 20 year old classically trained bass player, joined the band. They now tour as a group and call themselves, Jeremiah Cosner and the Concrete Sailors. The single, “Coney Island,” (on his most recent record) has gained a lot of local interest and opened many doors into the live music scene. “Spinning Away,” “Lipstick and Cigarettes,” and “Cinnamon” are all becoming crowd favorites. This summer, Jeremiah Cosner and the Concrete Sailors are hitting the road to promote their new record and do what they do best..."make music."
"Jeremiah Cosner Brings Infectious Pop-Rock Sound And Midwest Buzz To Nashville, TN"
NASHVILLE – For those needing a break from the country sound that will dominate Music City venues during CMA Music Festival check out Indiana-born pop-rock newcomer Jeremiah Cosner, performing at Wild Beaver Saloon this Thursday and Saturday night beginning at 10PM. Upon receiving “Indiana’s Home Grown Buzz” award in 2008, Cosner put together an acoustic tour, sponsored by Rebel Prep and Crown Royal. Most recently, he has toured with national acts Matt White, Derek James, Jeremy Buck and the Bang!, and has added both drummer, Ryan Rody and classically trained bass player, Jeffrey Alexander to his act. Now touring in support of his single “Coney Island,” off of his current album, Jeremiah Cosner and the Concrete Sailors – as Rody and Alexander are touted – have noted success on several Midwest radio stations, and hope to start conquering the Southeast, starting with their Nashville gig.

"The first time I saw Jeremiah play live, you could sense the room narrow in on him as soon as he started playing. It's his voice, the delivery of the lyrics, and his presence on stage. He lets it all hang out and you are instantly drawn into his music. He really knows how to entertain a crowd."
