Teen Machine ..
Jeremiha started off back in 1999 in a small westcoast town in Sweden called Falkenberg.
In the beginning the band released several demos and most of all, they did alot of shows in the southern parts of Sweden. They got a reputation as a great live-act and more and more people showed up at the shows. It was not only the crowd that seemed to enjoy the band and their bombastic live shows, they also got great reviews in several musicmagazines, and in 2001 they where nominated “band of the month” in Swedens biggest alternative music-magazine “Sonic”. This was a huge step for the band.
Managers and record-label started to recognize Jeremiha, and after speaking to several labels the band deceided to work with Dead Frog Records, an indie-label established in Stockholm.
In 2003 Jeremiha started to work on their first release, and in 2004 the band entered Recordia Studios with the producer Fredrik Larnemo to record their debutalbum.
The most part of 2004 was dedicated to rehearsing and recording the full-length debut, titled “Too much is never enough” wich was released in April 2005 The band took a step in a direction that everybody was pleased with. The sound is antehmic, romantic, arena-rock with a distinctive flair of the eighties while still maintaining a solid connection to the present contemporary rockscene. In other words “the best of both worlds”.
The first single to be released was the song “Strangers” the son instantly achived airplay around the globe. Some of the countries which the song rotated in was Greece, Jugoslawia, Germany, USA and Sweden. They even had three entire radioshows on the air in Japan dedicated to Jeremiha..s music, the same radiostation also aired Jeremiha..s songs five times a day for a week!
When their new record was released, Jeremiha where getting great response in newspapers and magazine all over Sweden and started to tour more frequently to support their new album.
The band was not satisfied with only touring in Sweden so in late 2005 Jeremiha visited Germany for the first time and did a couple of the shows with Frankfurt-based Phonodrive.
It was a great success so the band deceided to go back, which they did just a couple of months after.
During 2006 the band started to work on their second album and entered Recordia studios to record again later that fall.
The second album titled “Where the stars scream out your name” will be released in spring 2008 and contains some of the bands strongest work to date.
