About me:

I am the drummer of the band Pleasure The Priestess. We have done several live shows in Toronto, Ontario for the Industrial, Goth and Burlesque/Vaudeville crowds. We have spent the past couple years building on our artistic and production skills as well as incorporating elements of Jungle/DNB into our sound while retaining the darker overtones. Our current project involves exploring the occult journey of initiation through the archetypes of the Tarot. We hope to release this material early in 2010.

In an effort to contribute to the online occult community, I created and maintain JeremyCrow.com It is a place where I have archived and published several of my articles on Luciferian and occult theory and practice. I have been seriously involved in the occult for around 14 years and have considered myself specifically Luciferian for the past 8 years.

My father taught me how to perform a divination with Tea Leaves when I was around 8 years old. When I was 17 years old I began a study of the Tarot, which I have continued to pursue ever since. I currently offer divination services, which I like to call Intuitive Readings, both online and in person. Contact me for details.

I believe that Satan/Lucifer is both a conscious force/entity that can be tapped into AS WELL AS a concept to align oneself with.  Take any historical figure as an example: You have someone who is a conscious entity, but who also has a set of ideals and beliefs that they push forward in this world (beliefs that people rally behind and align themselves with). Obviously, the major difference within the examples provided is that any historical figure is a being like you and me, and the concsious Satanic force at work is a sort of metaconcsiousness (see also The Omega Point).

A couple of books I'd recommend, if you would like to read some more about the Satanic/Luciferian Current are "The Lucifer Principle" by Howard Bloom, "Postmodern Satanism" by Jason King, and lastly, The Dao of Satan" by Jason King (forthcoming).

    Hey Jeremy!
To answer your question, well I consider Lucifer to be a concept.  He may be an entity to others but for me he's not.  To me he represents enlightenment, or should I say it;-)
Even if I would work with an entity I would still perceive it as energy.
I'm just not the worshipping type.

    Hi J,

With regards to your quest "What's more real? Our waking life or the dreams we have when we are asleep?"

I would have to say neither! Our waking life is simply a perception of what actually "is" and our dreams are a kaleadascope of everything our conscious minds miss.

    Nice question tho.

I believe that they do exist in some form all the time, just as physical objects exist in the waking world while we sleep.

Yes, this brings something to my attention...I once read something about a conceptual reality where everything already is in existence.  But how do we know to label the chair as a chair...if the concept of the chair already exists than how do we become aware of it simultaneously.  It would make sense regarding the invention of something...tapping into this conceptual reality.  I need to give this some more thought ...

When you say that the subconscious passes you information while you dream, this sounds like you don't consider the subconscious as a part of "you", but simply communicating with "you."

I do see it as part of me but this brings up something that I've become aware of more and more while observing myself and that is that I am only a fraction aware of the whole of me.  So the subconscious passing information on to me with that I mean that the part of me that is not fully aware when I am awake can be contacted through dream time since our ego is not active during dream time and we are much more receptive of others parts of SELF.
The last comment you made about the Great Work is interesting...do elaborate on that if you will!

What is more real? Our daily life or dream time?
Well, it depends on what you define as 'real'...real is what you accept for yourself to be your truth, meaning what is real for you may not be real for others.  Then there is such a thing as general accepted reality...there is something in front of me called a chair and we all agreed that that is a chair. Is it really a chair? Don't know if I wanna go down that road today;-)
Your question was, what is more real, daily life or dream time.
Daily life is real to me since it is what I experience, perceive, sense, smell, taste, ... but it is on the other hand 'real' because I 'accept' it as 'real'.  I think one could not accept and in that sense 'change' what is real.
Dream time is very real to me too.
Why? Because my subconsious passes information on to me in dream time, guising it in something that I can connect with, and trying to tell/teach me something.
You can learn just as much from real life as dream time, as long as you are aware of it.
It's only a shame I can't just yet be fully aware of all my dream time activity.
Sometimes the awareness of the activity is immense and sometimes nil.
Perhaps none of it is real and it is all just a game ... a spirit in bodily existence....dreaming and creating and being...not aware of the game;-)

Well Halloween is not such a big thing here.  We have carnaval instead which is also about costumes and dressing up but it takes place in February and is more connected to the religious calendar in a way since it takes place before fastening.
Mind you, the religious connection is as good as gone, to most people it is all about carnaval parades with dressed up people and having lots of fun and candy.
It's a bit like the German kind of carnaval parades perhaps that rings a bell?
I like the Halloween tradition better though since it is more related to 'the veil becoming thinner and spirits being able to cross over that sort of thing...'
I had one group of kids that rang the door bell, just one, so that says it all I guess.
And yes, I gave them a treat;-)
That ceremonial thing you did sounds interesting, what is it about exactly?
