Sometimes I have the musical taste of a 13 year old girl ( but I'm all over the map. Hip Hop, Soul, Punk and Jazz are my main focus. Favorite album of all time is a toss up between JAMES BROWN - LIVE AT THE APOLLO and CURTIS MAYFIELD'S SUPERFLY SOUNDTRACK. Favorite group is GANGSTARR. I also like John Coltrane, The Clash, Miles Davis, Lightning Hopkins, Common, Mos Def, Mary J Blige, Blondie, Billie Holiday, Booker T and the MGs, Grandmaster Flash... really too many to list. I am bored with most of mainstream hip hop nowadays.

Currently Reading THE ROAD by Cormac McCarthy (I know I'm late). Favorite genre is pulp sci-fi fantasy by Robert E Howard and Edgar Rice Boroughs. Favorite book of all time would have to be THE MUCKER by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Other favorites include THE INVISIBLE MAN by Ralph Ellison, HUCKLEBERRY FINN, FAST FOOD NATION, THE WATCHMAN and WE3.
