Recently I like to listen to Phil Collins, Jeff Buckley, Elton John, Emmylou Harris, U2, Muse, Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, Nina Simone and Luciano Pavarotti just to name a few.
Jeremy Ezell is breaking into the music scene championing a rare brand of passionate, honest, pop/rock on his debut release of Love and Law, available early 2009. A year ago Jeremy left his long term project, Wilson Empire, to build a new direction for his music. With years of experience touring the Southeast, opening spots for national artists, and two very successful independent recordings, Jeremy's goals remain quite simple: to write, record, and tour winning the affection of audiences with his intelligent lyrics and infectious melody. Those same lyrics and melody caught the attention of Producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, Aaron Shust), who lent his hand to five of the nine tracks comprising the soundscape that is of Love and Law. His songs have garnered him Best Songwriter titles and praises from press and fans alike. Jeremy says, "I paint life with words and sound." Elizabeth Cline of New York Magazine writes, "A Jeremy Ezell song is high drama and pop contagion. His songs are stories of heartache and faith that follow unapologetically in the footsteps of futurists like Phil Collins, Muse, and Radiohead." -------
~~~Music has great power to affect our emotions and passions and I believe it is to our benefit to enjoy that in a positive way. I have wanted to be a musician since I was a child; I have wanted to be apart of making music that was inspiring and timeless; I've wanted to invest in people. The music I've been working on is a blending of my passions, my guitar, piano, voice, and computer. So I hope you will enjoy what is here, the product of my time and thoughts.
Me and my friends are working really hard at promoting the shows, the songs, and the purpose of the songs. Thank you for giving your time and attention to our effort.
Man. I wish I could go to your show on the 20th. I've been a fan of Chuck Carriers for years but have never been able to make it out to a show :( It's probably his fault that I'm unable to make it to see you guys...
Yeah NYC is one of my favorite places in the whole world! I was there back in November visiting Zac. When I'm done with school in December, I'm heading up there. Stay warm! Much love!
