In 2006, after living in France for a year and being inspired by a variety of music, love, and travel experiences, Jeremy came back to the US reinvigorated with a passion for music. He had already spent some time learning classical piano, as well as having spent a summer studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston. So following graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2006, Jeremy decided to put his degree on standby and pursue a music career instead.
In summer 2006, Jeremy released his debut album, “Rhythms From Another Summer.” Jeremy composed each song stylistically different from the next. From the alt/rock “Dunes of Bohemia” to the pop “I’m at Home” to the folk “Her I Am,” you can hear specific rhythmic changes, which symbolize the distinctness of each experience.
Lyrically, the songs are image provoking and have a magical-realist bent to them. They are about living life to the fullest and romance, and give a revealing look at the specific experiences which impassioned Jeremy to pursue music.
Determined never to use his diploma, Jeremy is looking to spread his music to people who are tired of the mundane expectations in mainstream music, yet still enjoy music that’s accessible and progressive. He now lives in New York City.

Thanks for the email-list update on your last few weeks. -The trip with your brother, the stops along the way, moving in in LA... I'm so excited for you, especially with 2 engagements already! Continued good wishes!
..BTW, don't forget that Jon Mackey and Casey Trela (Sweater Weather, Chuttesville Speak) are settling in L.A. this week and next, primarily for visual media production. Y'all stay in touch with one another; you have a lot of common friends.
It's really cool here, mister ! Great music and nice voice. Julie (your best fan) said to me : "Listen to him, you'll love his music", and it's true. We're waiting shows in france.

Elodie
