I started off as a punk rocker in 2003 , although the real inspiration to play guitar was No Such Thing by John Mayer. I was uneducated musically for 2 whole years when i first started out, everything was tabs, and almost no theory, except whatever information my peers shared with me. I finally gave up and decided to take proper guitar lessons at the start of 2005. By then my musical exposure was broadened a bit, but was still pretty much rock. In december 2007, after attending the Music Clef Music Nature Camp, I was awed by a guitar clinic conducted by my current guitar instructor, Shukor Jalil. It opened up my mind to many different applications of chords and even more chords and theory. Currently i'm teaching guitar privately, and play for Crimson Plus, my personal pop-rock band.
Currently:
Guitarist/ Vocalist for Crimson Plus
Employee of Guitar 77
Rhythm & Groove Music Camp Scholar
Uses:
* Yamaha Pacifica Guitars
* Line 6 POD X3 Live Guitar Effects
* Kurt Mangan Strings
Formerly:
Guitarist for Pendulous
Guitarist for Theocentric
Bass Player/Instructor for Church of Christ the King Music Ministry (now defunct)
