Jeremy Stewart has been playing locally in Prince George and around BC for over ten years in a variety of bands that cut across musical lines, including folk, jazz, metal, and punk. While his debut album, Jeremy Stewart, represented a statement of his evolving vision as a songwriter, his new Plaid Clouds EP showcases his rock n’ roll side. Jeremy's songs ruminate on denim jackets and feeling cold, dreaming green in a northern town.
In July 2008, Jeremy toured Canada along with his band, The Rest, a musical collective that transform his contemplative songs into sound-drenched carnivals of dreams. With rotating lineup that variously features harmony singing, electric guitar, upright bass, piano, violin, drums, and accordion, The Rest blend experimental jazz, folk, and rock n’ roll to create a joyful noise.

Hey Jeremy, I just found the "new messages" section and there you were. i forgot to mention to you when we talked that i think your album sounds great. Raghu
Wish you had seen that buddy. We sold about 250 tix and everyone went fucking nuts! It doesn't hurt at all that we are constantly improving, but even then...we can only credit that to the hard work of you and Tyler in that town! It was very exciting. We missed you. I won't be in Vancouver all winter long, I prefer the sunshine and skating of Alberta. I am looking to get up that way again at the end of June. Colin Pearson was really good! Hopefully there will be some Cottonweeds around by then...take care old friend, good luck with school...joey
Hi there Jeremy Stewart first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't loose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
Hey Jer...would you and Raghu like to join our choral chorus in Wells? We'll end the show with BEAT UP OLD GUITAR and SUPER HAPPY FUN! But we'd also love voices on Anarchist Mountain, Smells Like Quesnel and Naptime...let me know...cheers...
Thanks again for playing a beautiful and moving set last night and thanks for helping out with sound. it was great to hear about where the songs are coming from, especially 'in loving memory,' that is one of my favourites of yours.
We have some new songs on our myspace. "Dreams and memories" which is a tribute to a friend who is no longer with us. And "Skid" whick is roughly based on my brother in high school. so come have a listen and tell us what you think.
Support our Metal Troops, fighting the Metal War for your Metal Freedom! Metal Freedom isn't free, it costs $18 bux pre sale!
But for you man... you can come for free, as long as you bring your little sister cause she seems to like emo, and that's not good!
I hope to catch your show on the 3rd!
