Dangit!!1 For whatever reason, Myspace wouldn't let me link up to your Pros/cons list for the 10 nominees...at the risk of writing something you might have already written, I do think a major con would be that there might not be 10 worth being called 'best' EG- I loved the 7 nominees, but I cannot believe ____, ______, and _____ are nominated..."

But Lena Olin does speak the film's most essential truth that seems lost on everyone.
The camps were not therapy. I think Winslet is fine, but the film does seem like remedial Fassbinder for the most part, but your review is so much better than Ebert's lame defense that is for sure.
I honestly think had hat been a German film it would have worked much better.

Jeremy, thank you! I really enjoyed listening to you and d$ talk movies, even though I rarely see the new ones in the theater. You certainly know your stuff!

I'm wondering what you think of "The Reader." I'm a big Ralph Fiennes fan and I thought it was pretty solid.

Yeah, I saw it at Midnight last Thursday. I was pretty disappointed overall. Are you going to review it? If so, I'll have plenty of thoughts to share on there, lol.

Haha yes! Have they finally found a villain that makes Dan Scott seem not so bad? wow Brooke's mom was nothing and Dan is a murderer but at least he didn't torture Keith before he killed him. I just pray that since Lucas picked Peyton that they can end it at that and there will be no more stupid love triangles with them. I agree very entertaining season premiere. oh and hip hop dancing Jaime and Haley at the end were pretty funny too.
