  • Bio

.. .. .. .... .. .. .......... .. With critical acclaim from such industry heavyweights as Billboard and New Music Weekly, the Jeremy Vogt (vote) Band is an Indie bright light. The band has seen great opportunities opening Plaza Stage concerts at Verizon Wireless Music Center for Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Three Doors Down, and others. It is clear there is a magic in this sound, and there... is a path for this youthful-sounding quartet and their indie-americana-rock from the circle city. They have released two solid and memorable full-length albums, but yet the band comes to life outside of the studio. This is where the Jeremy Vogt Band shines, winning over countless fans with their interactive, high-energy performances.. .. .. .. .. Preview the entire album on the ..JVB website...

Bio:

.. .. .. ....

So this is the band that made you listen. No, they literally made you put down your weiner schnitzel and say, "Wow this is real." If you've heard their debut album, People In Strange Places, you know they're not fake. So, for a minute try to forget about their unapologetically catchy melodies, lasting choruses, merciless guitar tones, and modestly vintage disposition. Could it be the Eagles? No, one man short, and clearly more rock-n-roll pervades their musical sweat-laden live performances and meticulously-sequenced-pop-rock records. The Counting Crows? Not so much as a vulnerable minute could bleed their musical affections with said crankiness. Maybe the likes of Mellencamp and Petty are the responsible rock-n-roll mentors? Possibly, but whatever their influences, wherever their music lands in your consciousness, it's clear there is a path for this youthful-sounding quartet and their indie-americana-rock from the circle city...on to Villains and Vocoders.

The second release from this band of genuine musicians can be summed up as quite an amazing work. There are some notable differences from the debut album with more energetic guitar-driven songs. Says engineer and producer, Eric Klee Johnson, "This record has some amazing songs. I can't think of one song that stands out as being inaccessible."
