Heart Surgery Was A Success!
I want to thank all of my family, friends, fans and concerned strangers that all came to my financial, emotional and physical rescue and helped me through this last year. I had the surgery Wednesday September 17th and it went off without a hitch. I am so happy to still be standing and I have a new lease on life. My belief in community and my soul has been filled with optimism on all fronts because of everyones' genereous and unconditional support. You all just blow my mind!! PEACE AND LOVE! JW 09/27/08

The latest CD is called Independence Vol. 1: demos and out-takes. Spanning the genres of folk, blues, gospel and rock, I wanted to share with folks different types of music I make and also show how viable any type of recording format can be. This is one album put together from unreleased recordings I used many different recorders including a cassette 4-track, multiple digital programs and there's even one song from a 24 track 2" session.

This was filmed and recorded live on my birthday 08/08/08 from Kelly's Olympian in downtown Portland for The MastanMusic Hour - Club Showcase.
