Since I am WAY too eclectic for my own good, I try to play in lots of genre with lots of varied and talented musicians... ___ I am mostly known for my 12-string fingerstyle approach to the guitar (DETROIT MUSIC AWARDS 1999 & 2000 _ I am in the Michigan Touring Artists Guide (see link) & Give workshops in songwriting & lyric building (poetics) ______ ____ I try to maintain a solo gig schedule in addition to these bands:
_______ Michigammee MoonSqualler are busy working on our debut CD at planet e. The band features Matthew Greenia on Guitars, Nancy Greenia on Mandolin, Art Mellos on perc & sound effects, Frank Greenhaigh on bull fiddle & I play guitar, dobro, fiddle, banjo AND WE ALL SING________ We do music of Jimmy Rodgers, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Louvin Brothers, R Crumb, Charlie Pool, the Carter Family and other rather obscure songs of that ilk and era. :) I also play with the Dont Look Now Jugband.
Dont Look Now Jugband have been performing in the Detroit area since the mid 70s or so . . . . >

My band Plum Street is an original music songwriters project that is garage rocky in a 1960s creative spirit. We hardly ever play out, but we can rock out and bring some fun everywhere we play.

Acoustakimbo (a folk/jazz party band) with Brigitte Knudson, Peggy King Ahmed, Dave Marchaccio and Ron Ellman is somewhat dormant :( & Stella Stormer an old school country western band with honky tonk roots is also on hiatus -- that band features Maggie McCabe, Larry Everhart, Stu Tucker and Frank Greenhalgh.

Arts Academy in the Woods is a charter high school for the fine and performing arts, located in Fraser, MI, just north of Detroit.
AAW is an excellent choice for kids that are into the arts. We are always looking for talented new students. AAW students all have an arts major, and enjoy an excellent academic program as well.
AAW accepts students in grades 9-12 from all over southeast Michigan, and is tuition free!
