    John David's Interests
GeneralReading, vigorous exercise, repetitive stress injuries, bodily secretions, listening to music, performing music, petting small cats, observing insects from a safe distance, cherishing the common moor hen, poking the irritable Mel.
MusicI like powerful rhythm sections, rough and expressive voices, catchy melodies, and attention to sonic detail. I am moved by lovingly crafted textures, nuanced chord progressions, and stark contrasts. I enjoy stripped-down minimalism as much as I enjoy dense orchestration and complex arrangements. Lyrics are usually lost on me.
MoviesMovies are a fun escape, but they don't hold the depth that a good book or recording does.

I'm game for collaborating. Should we merge it into a RTRB show?

Oh, the 29th isn't an ESS show. That's just Chris being awesome and updating his local electronic shows list very often.

Conversely, our normal set is too pop for an AR show, so a noise/improve collab set might just be something very special. We should definitely talk it over.

That's a good question! You should ask Chris and Andrew! Hopefully sometime soon. I'd especially like to play with Hydrogen Arm sometime, or maybe even collaborate.

So I have a boyfriend who is nine inches easy when very excited. HE is uncircumcised and very sexually un-educated [I was his first everything, he had never even masturbated].
He seems much more sensitive than the average man, is this just me or is this common? Also, I have never had experiences of any kind with an uncircumcised guy, is there anything I should know or watch out for?

I might be the only person on the face of the earth that knows you're the greatest man on earth. I might be the only one who appreciates how amazing you are in every single thing that you do, and how you are with Felipe, and in every single thought that you have, and how you say what you mean, and how you almost always mean something that's all about being straight and good. I think most people miss that about you, and I watch them, wondering how they can watch you bring their food, and clear their tables and never get that they just met the greatest man alive. And the fact that I get it makes me feel good, about me.

That's awesome. I'm not really surprised; after all you ARE John-David >:)

I haven't had a whole lot of time- but I did manage to make a few VST's and recorded some samples of trains going by and wind blowing through trees and stuff. I'm going to use FL studio to make some form of munch-style Deep Forrest clone. Something about that *marimba beat* sends shivers down my spine. I told Derrick I'd chop and screw one of his songs, and I'm about half way through it. I didn't want to say anything until it was done but I'm having a hard time finding free time lately with all the craziness whirring around me. I will though- when I sit down clearheaded and find the inspiration within. I picked up the guitar today for the first time in weeks and played some tunes with my Uncle. It was pretty awesome family bonding.

Anyways, I'll let you know if I produce something noteworthy. Later Brotha
