|
| Bio | JERMAINE L. WILLIAMS was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in Burtonsville, Maryland. He is known for making funny facial expressions, and having a distinct voice. Throughout his childhood, making people laugh and using his unique sense of creativity made him stand out from the rest. While performing theatre at Paint Branch High School, he discovered that acting was one of his passions. After graduation, he studied TV Production at Morgan State University, then earned his Bachelors Degree in Film & Video at University of Maryland Baltimore County. During college, he starred in many independent shorts, including Practice Session (2002) and Peace of Mind (2003), which made Top Ten in the Triggerstreet Film Festival. In the same year, Jermaine became the first national winner of the WB Casting Call contest, which included a trip to LA, a cash prize, a meeting with the WB Executive Vice President of Casting, and a national television appearance on the WB. In 2004, he starred in his first feature film entitled Last Ride of the Raven. | General | Listening to good music, writing, performing standup, karaoke, and playing the Wii! Watching TV too, but that really doesn't count, does it? | | Music | My first love is acappella music, because I love the voice. Groups from that genre include Take6, Vox One, and Rockapella. I also love music from James Brown, Michael Jackson, and Jamiroquai. Mostly, I like pop, some oldies, dance/techno, and jazz. | | Movies | My favorite movies/shows would have to be the ones that influenced me other the years: The Mask, The Matrix, Disney's Pinocchio, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the movies too), Spiderman (tv shows and movies), Sponge Bob Squarepants...I could go on, but I'm not remembering anymore right now. | | Books | You know I don't rad much (as you can see rad), but I'd have to say that I do depend a lot on the Bible, so I'll say that's my favorite book. About me:
Hi, I'm Jermaine, and I really like making people laugh and entertaining. I enjoy singing, acting, standup, dancing, playing music, filmmaking, drawing, and writing. I'm the only child, so I don't know what it's like to have a brother or sister. I've never had a dog, although I did own fish, parrots, turtles, hamsters, and a ferret (not all at once ofcoarse). I can be quite a perfectionist most times with what I'm working on, even the smallest of things. I am a hard worker, and I pay very close to detail. Goodness, I feel like I'm typing a resume.
