About me:
First off, I am very active in the pagan community. I host a local monthly meeting of like-minded folks - anyone is welcome as long as they respect other's belief systems. And I am a local coordinator of Pagan Pride Day, an education/networking event for both pagan and non-pagan folks.
I spent nearly ten years as an Episcopal deacon before deciding church felt better to me outdoors than in a stuffy church filled with $1k suits. If that seems really strange, please don't believe Hollywood and ancient history. Please ask anything you like - I will not be offended by it. :-) Think of me as following mostly Native American practices with a dash of the eclectic thrown in to make it mine.
I live on 14 acres about 15 miles from San Antonio, and the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. I do not own my place as much as I am the caretaker.
I am an uber-geek at work, and truly enjoy my work, but like to leave it at the office most of the time. I work with folks teaching Reiki, aromatherapy, and other life skill things when I am not lazing about my hilltop watching the clouds go by. I am 6'6" and carry it off well according to my friends. :-) Definitely not scary, more like a big teddy bear...

Who I'd like to meet:
I have found my Great Love, and we are developing our life together on my (our!) hilltop. The melding of two households has definitely given us a few challenges, but together, we can do anything. Let the adventure begin!
Here's what I've found: someone who is willing to be themselves, not be into drama on any level, and who is not afraid to let me be me. Independence, followed by gentle inter-dependence, comes to mind. I am not into mindgames, jealosy, hypocrisy, or "I'm in charge" from either side of a relationship. I need intelligent conversation, persuasive debates, and interest in social action, and not afraid to be in the spotlight ocaasionally. I need someone who can appreciate beautiful sunsets, mist-filled valleys, and the sounds of the wind in the trees and gently ringing windchimes I have around my place. I have developed a fairly "drama-free" life, and am learning the shamanic arts of self-healing and growth.
