You are cool and soothing, with a hidden spontanious side. You are deeper than most people percieve, and you care a lot for those whom you surround yourself with.
Who I'd like to meet: Truly fertile Music, the only kind that will move us, that we shall truly appreciate, will be a Music conducive to Dream, which banishes all reason and analysis. One must not wish first to understand and then to feel. Art does not tolerate Reason.
Albert Camus...There is something suspicious about music, gentlemen. I insist that she is, by her nature, equivocal. I shall not be going too far in saying at once that she is politically suspect.
Thomas Mann ..There once was a brainy baboon
Who always breathed down a bassoon,
For he said, "It appears
That in billions of years
I shall certainly hit on a tune."

As many of you know, the TN Renaissance Festival chose not to renew my contract and I will not be returning to the festival. However, I refuse to let “The Man” get us down. Laughter is still the best medicine; and until they form a national healthcare plan that works, it’s all most of us have. To that end, I invite you to join me, your favorite Danger Comedian, for an evening of laughs on Saturday June 13th at the Boiler Room Theatre just outside of Nashville, TN. (This is not my Renaissance Festival show done in the woods wearing tights.) This is a full stage production which features lots of new material, costume changes, and even a musical finale. The show, One Night With Johnny Phoenix, is a complete evening of entertainment including an after show party mixer for some personal hanging out time with your Uncle Johnny.
Showtime begins at 8 PM with a family-friendly performance. For those who wish to stay after the family-friendly show and enjoy the late night comedy side of Johnny Phoenix, there will be a brief intermission followed by a free bonus performance of my adult comedy show at 9:15 PM. There will also be an after show party mixer immediately following the adult show. That's two different shows for one ticket price. Tickets are only $10 and benefit The Make A Wish Foundation of Middle TN.
One Night With Johnny Phoenix, Saturday June 13 at 8:00 PM at The Boiler Room Theatre. The theatre is located at The Factory At Franklin, 230 Franklin Road Building 6 Franklin, TN 37064. Admission is $10. Need a little relief at tax time? I have filed an extension on the free give away with ticket purchase that ended on April 13th. If you purchase your tickets online before April 30th, you will receive a bottle of one of my Johnny Phoenix brand hot sauces for free. Hot sauce must be claimed at the theatre the night of the show. There are only 60 seats remaining so go to http://www.johnnyphoenix.com/ and get your tickets and free hot sauce before they’re
Hey Jerry! It was so great hanging out with you guys this weekend. Hopefully I will see you next Sunday! I looked for you on Facebook when I got home (before I forgot) and there are a ton of Jerry Barrys, go figure? My full name is Maria Cristina Hensley, so look me up if you can! See you soon.
OMG... when I found out today from Jim Hancock's blog that you are at BARF this season, I peed my pants! I missed opening week-end or I might have peed in the mulch when I saw you guys. I've missed you all so much since the days of Mom at Largo.
~Doing a happy dance~
This is like Christmas, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day all wrapped into one!
Thanks for adding me, Jerry! It was really great to get to know you guys better this weekend and I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing you in Tampa. And hey, since you're from around here, I'd love to get a beer with you (and Bradley? Does he live here too?) sometime if you're free. Let me know!
(Also, "Better Times" just came up on my iTunes! heh)
Hey Jerry, nice page, 'bout time we became friends. Hope all is well and perhaps we can get together later this winter for some tunes. Happy turkey day.
