Jerry is very active in the Toronto Jobbing and Recording Music scene. Composer/Songwriter/Producer, Band Leader, Keyboards, Lead & BkGnd Vocals, Hammond B3, Accordion, Left H.Bass, Musical Director, Arranger. An extensive active on going Musical career performing and leading his own band as well as directing sub-contracted Bands for many Corporate events, special award shows, product launch events, dinner dance theme night events, weddings, clubs, and many other live music entertainment type events. It is his 38 years of paramount experience and the delivery of his high standard level of professionalism and performance which lands him the most high profile GIGS. Growing up in a musical enviroment and being the son of Professional Accordionist Joe Caringi. Jerry started on Drums at the age of 3 . Age 5 on Accordion. At age 7 discovers the sounds of "Jimmy Smith" so he moves on to the Hammond B3. He discovers the sounds of "Tower of Power", "Chicago, "Blood Sweat and Tears", "Earth wind and Fire"... develops the chops (Pro-Technique) and confidence and by the age of 14, he is already performing ..s and Vocals in Clubs and shows with many of the best icon musicians in the bizz performing with Canadian and US, R&B, Funk and Rock Bands.
Jerry has performed with, lead bands, experienced in the capacity as musical director for numerous Juno and Grammy award wining artists. He has worked with Aretha Franklin, Alan Frew of (Glass Tiger), The Temptations, The Drifters, The O'Jays, Wild "T" and the Spirit (Tony Springer), Carol Wellsman, Guido Basso, Parachute Club, Al Martino, Valdy, Liberty Silver, Mike Ferfolia, Trust, Chris Arrouse, Billy Klipert & Gary Beals of Canadian Idol, Ross Wooldridge of the Jeff Healy Band, Matt Dusk, George Oliver and the Gangbusters, Wayne Saint John, Danny Marks, George St.Kitts, Grant Smith and The Power, International Italian Star Patrizio Buanne and has shared the stage with icon Italian artist's such as Riccardo Cocciante, Rita Pavone, Albano & Romina Power, Little Tony, I Cugini di Campagna, Milva, Gianni Morandi, Giacomo Rondinella and many more.....
