promotion plans. National music promotion for all mainstream radio formats (Top
40/Adult Top 40/Modern AC/Adult Contemporary).
1996-1997: VICE PRESIDENT NATIONAL PROMOTION
COLUMBIA RECORDS
Developed daily strategic plans for a local, regional and national promotion
staff of forty. Interacted with the department heads and staff members of A
& R, Product Management, Marketing, Video Promotion, Publicity, Sales and
Emerging Technologies to enhance the continued development of a diversified
roster of Top 40, Rhythm-crossover, Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary,
Album-oriented Rock, Alternative and AAA recording artists. Primary contact with
more than three dozens broadcast consultants. Promotion liaison with fourteen
Sony Branch and Sales Managers.
1990-1996: V. P. ADULT CONTEMPORARY PROMOTION
COLUMBIA RECORDS
Managed and directed two national and eighteen local promotion staff members
in their efforts to secure and maintain airplay at hundreds of Billboard, Radio
and Records, Gavin and Network 40 reporting radio stations. Assisted in
preparation and execution of all marketing related functions including radio and
tipsheet advertising, promotion tours, independent promotion, purchase and
distribution of concert tickets and contests.

PROMOTION
COLUMBIA RECORDS
Participated in the selection, scheduling and promotion of all single music
releases for the Top 40 format. Interacted with local field staff, industry
trade magazines, broadcast consultants, program and music directors.
1986-1989: LOCAL PROMOTION MANAGER/NEW YORK
COLUMBIA RECORDS
Responsible for set up, initiating and maintenance of multi-format airplay
at New York/New Jersey metro area radio stations. Participated in the creation
and execution of promotion and marketing plans in support of the regional branch
sales office.

CHRYSALIS RECORDS
Directed field staff in the coordination of all promotional activities
relative to club and mix show play and record pool service on all dance music
related releases. Additionally, promoted all multi-format releases to radio.

PROMOTIONS
Independent promotion and marketing company specializing in urban
contemporary and dance music. Served as the Saturday night MC, introducing music
acts, at the legendary Studio 54.
