Growing up in Midtown on Duncan Hollow. Midtown can be found on a map these days but long ago the name "Midtown" just merely meant being located between Kingston, Harriman and Rockwood. Thus the name Midtown. These days Midtown is a thriving small city. As a young boy Jerry grew up working and raising hogs. He was a young talented singer as a young man and loved to play around while working. He was given the nickname Hogman. He got married and about the same time he gave singing a try at a recording studio. He wanted to pursue a singing and writing career. He came out with a couple of 45 rpm vinyl records, but a family was forming and he put his singing career on hold.He was raising pigs and worked at the paper mill in Harriman for 22+ years. He sold boats for 22 years at his house for a living as well. It wasnt uncommon to see signs everywhere in the Midtown area that read"Jerry's Boat Sales". Finally his children were grown and in the early 90s he decided to once again pursue his singing and writing career. He sold his successful boat business and started recording. Along the way he has won various comedian awards and appeared in several television appearances. He has traveled as far west as Las Vegas and as far south as Beaumont Texas and Florida. But he has been doing mostly local shows in Nashville, Knoxville, & Oak Ridge but is always eager to play anywhere at anytime. We hope you have enjoyed listening to the sample songs provided on this site. Jerry has several CDs available for sale and would be glad to sell you one or a collection. Jerry would be happy to sell you his Cds for $5.00 each and that includes shipping too!!You can buy a complete collection, total of 15 (so far) for $50.00. But for a limited time only!! I love it! Hogs is wunnerfull! I had me a pair once named Napolean and Josephine. They was fun when they broke out of their pen and "Boo" the terrier dog liked to try to ride them if'n ya know what I'm sayin'. Boo tried mountin yer leg if'n it had hog smell on it just a little. Watch out fer little dogs that like hog smell, they can be hard ta shake off if they get a good hold of yer leg.
