For the past five years I have played in a band called Table Top Poets, which I co-founded with guitartist, Patrick Kisicki. Together, we have released three records; a solo album of mine entitled, Tales of Separation, the semi-acoustic, Finding Your Ped(t)als and the electric recording entitled, The Secret EP. After releasing FindingYour Ped(t)als we were joined by Mark Butler on bass and Larry Rohleder on drums. We have done some minor touring on the east coast, founded an independent publishing company and label called Rainy Day Recluse Music, Inc. and managed to have a lot of fun.
I have performed with various bands and performers on the east coast most recently with Kimberly Hall and Jodi Harman. I played guitar on Kim's latest release and played bass in their band. I have also shared the stage with my favorite Baltimore band, Fools and Horses. If you don't know who they are, please go check them out to see what you're missing.
The song selection above consists of an unreleased demo of a song I wrote with my friend John Larsen called "Sunday Morning". I have also added "If Love Were Justice" and "Misery"(reprise) from TTP's Finding Your Ped(t)als. "A Rumor of War" was taken from The Secret EP. You can download most of these songs at iTunes, Rhapsody, AOL, MSN and virtually every other online store just follow the links below. I plan on adding more rare or unreleased songs to the page soon as well as some brand new songs from my current project over the next few months so check back often.
Currently I am working on a new band project with Patrick Kisicki. Right now we have no official release date for a recording. Stay tuned!
Jerry! Props to you for your awesome memory, was so long ago that I ran sound for you guys and Ellen Cherry at Mick O'Shea's all those years ago. I'm playing guitar in The Seldon Plan these days - we're at The Metro Gallery on 6/27 for our CD release party and have some other Baltimore shows this summer - come out and hear the new lineup some time!! :) Take care. -dd
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
